Sparks flew while filming a music video for Jack’s band, in which Thais played the role of a deceitful sea siren to Jack’s unlucky sailor. Fortunately for Jack, things turned out much better in real life. Jack and Thais have since made a home in Santa Monica—just a stone’s throw from Malibu, where they had their first beach date. Almost four years later, on a cloudless day in January, Jack proposed to a wholly unsuspecting Thais on her hometown beach in Miami. They couldn’t imagine a more perfect place than by the ocean in Malibu to celebrate their wedding—and they are beyond thrilled that you will be a part of that joyful day! THE HISTORIC ADAMSON HOUSE Nestled between the Malibu Pier and the Malibu Lagoon is the Historic Adamson House, a 1920s Spanish Colonial Revival style home. It has been called the "Taj Mahal of Tile" due to its extensive use of decorative ceramic tiles created by Rufus Keeler of Malibu Potteries. The house was built in 1929 for Rhoda Rindge Adamson and Merritt Huntley Adamson. The Adamson House was designated as California Historical Landmark around 1977, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places c. 1985.
