Featuring humorous takes on well-known musical numbers, these whimsical one-acts debuted at the Mount Vernon Community Children’s Theatre in Alexandria, VA and are sure to delight parents and students alike. Each one of these unique gems is truly Weird and Wonderful! Becker Drane's still got the coolest job in The World, but it's getting harder and harder to live a normal life outside of The Seems. He's definitely feeling the strain of being a teenager (complete with mood swings and a newfound respect for sarcasm) and he can't stop thinking about Jennifer Kaley, the totally cool girl he met during his Mission in Sleep. In A Whole New World, author Michael Wexler takes a foray into philosophy, inviting the reader on a journey into the "meaning" of life itself. Meaning, in this sense of the word, creates a possibility in which the world suddenly becomes malleable, not what we thought it was, and open to creation. When we glimpse that seeing is not believing but the other way around, a whole new world is literally at our fingertips. Have you ever wondered why the sky is blue or the wind blows the way it does? On the other side of the world is The Seems - the world that makes our world. Follow Becker Drane on his adventures as a "Fixer" with a magical realm. His first is mission is a gnarly one - to fix a Glitch in The Department of Sleep that could plunge the world into an All-Nighter, or possibly worse! When Calvin MacBoomboom and his trusty associates slip into the "Thinking Dome" and come up with the most amazing inventions of all time, you never know what you might get! From THE SNEEZE VACUUM to THE MOBILE CAT DESK to THE AUTOMATIC BELLYBUTTON CLEANER the sky is the limit! Work From Home (WFH): the blessing and the curse. While sipping cappuccino your pajamas may sound romantic, the realities of the work from home lifestyle are far different. This handy, dandy guide gives you all the tips (and sublime strategies) you need to make it through the day - and be productive. The Work From Home Survival Guide - Don't Be Home Without It!™ Why do some experiences "stick" and other experiences go by the wayside? You might forget your bar mitzvah or wedding day but remember the time on the farm that a bird egg dropped from a tree or a girl you kissed under the bridge in the rain? In this highly personal collection, the author recounts his "sticky" list... from his own life and times.
