SlideSlideSlideSlideSlideSlideSlide From Let’s Make a Potion to Ghostbusters:
The Musical
to Mystery at Pineapple Estates, Weird and Wonderful is
a collection of twelve original musicals for kids ages 6-12.
Featuring humorous takes on well-known musical numbers,
these whimsical one-acts debuted at the Mount Vernon
Community Children’s Theatre in Alexandria, VA and are sure
to delight parents and students alike. Each one of these unique
gems is truly Weird and Wonderful! Becker Drane's still got the coolest job in
The World, but
it's getting harder and harder to live a normal life outside
of The Seems. He's definitely feeling the strain of being
a teenager (complete with mood swings and a newfound
respect for sarcasm) and he can't stop thinking about
Jennifer Kaley, the totally cool girl he met during his
Mission in Sleep. In A Whole New World, author Michael Wexler takes a
foray into philosophy, inviting the reader on a journey into
the "meaning" of life itself. Meaning, in this sense of the word,
creates a possibility in which the world suddenly becomes
malleable, not what we thought it was, and open to creation.
When we glimpse that seeing is not believing but the other way
around, a whole new world is literally at our fingertips. Have you ever wondered
why the sky is blue or the wind
blows the way it does? On the other side of the world is
The Seems - the world that makes our world. Follow
Becker Drane on his adventures as a "Fixer" with a magical
realm. His first is mission is a gnarly one - to fix a Glitch in
The Department of Sleep that could plunge the world into
an All-Nighter, or possibly worse! When Calvin MacBoomboom and his trusty
associates
slip into the "Thinking Dome" and come up with
the most amazing inventions of all time, you never
know what you might get! From THE SNEEZE VACUUM to
THE MOBILE CAT DESK to THE AUTOMATIC
BELLYBUTTON CLEANER the sky is the limit! Work From Home (WFH): the blessing and
the curse. While sipping
cappuccino your pajamas may sound romantic, the realities of the
work from home lifestyle are far different. This handy, dandy
guide gives you all the tips (and sublime strategies) you need
to make it through the day - and be productive.
The Work From Home Survival Guide - Don't
Be Home Without It!™ Why do some experiences "stick" and other experiences go by
the
wayside? You might forget your bar mitzvah or wedding day but
remember the time on the farm that a bird egg dropped from a tree
or a girl you kissed under the bridge in the rain? In this highly
personal collection, the author recounts his "sticky" list...
from his own life and times.

Becker Drane’s still got the coolest job in The World, but it’s getting harder
and harder to live a normal life outside of The Seems. He’s definitely feeling
the strain of being a teenager (complete with mood swings and a newfound respect
for sarcasm) and he can’t stop thinking about Jennifer Kaley, the totally cool
girl he met during his Mission in Sleep. Things don’t get any easier when a bomb
explodes in the Department of Time and Becker is called in to pick up the pieces
after a more senior Fixer couldn’t disarm the device. It’s his toughest mission
yet, and Becker finds himself going places in The Seems he never knew existed,
and meeting people long thought dead. Yep, it’s just another day in the life of
Becker Drane. Let’s hope he lives to Fix again . . . .

Becker Drane knows exactly how The World works.

You know the rain we had two weeks ago, or that nightmare you had last night?
Becker Drane can tell you exactly who or what was responsible because Becker
works as a Fixer for The Seems. From the Department of Weather to the Department
of Time, The Seems is the world-behind-our-World, and it keeps everything
running smoothly.

But every so often, something goes wrong.

When a Glitch makes its way into the Department of Sleep, Becker is called in
for his very first Fixer assignment and he’s got to get it right. But this
Mission is tricky, and his regular Tools aren’t up to the test. If Becker
doesn’t find a Fix fast, he just might lose the coolest job ever―and The World
will lose a lot more than a good night’s sleep.

About The Book

Working from home: the blessing and the curse. While watching TV during lunch or
laptop jockeying in your pajamas may sound like bliss, the “WFH” lifestyle comes
with a set of demons and bugaboos all its own. Procrastination lurks around

About The Book

Not many folks know it, but on the west side of town, behind Big Felix’s Pizza
Flavored Ice Cream, and Edna’s Gum Emporium, lives an inventor, Calvin
MacBoomboom and his two faithful assistants, Frazzlecat the cat, an Dooley the
dog. Thus begins an adventure in the exigencies of success and failure, fun and
fame (or the quest thereof), and the sheer genius that the three magical
maestros dream up inside “The Thinking Dome” and their own minds. Always
endeavoring to make his toys “touch the sky” Calvin and Co. generate some of the
most fantastical creations man (or pets) have ever seen. THE SNEEZE VACUUM, THE
MOBILE CAT DESK, and THE SQUIRREL ACORN DETECTION AND RETRIEVAL SUIT,” just to
name a few. In dazzling color and mystic imagination, this hardcover treasure
trove has something for everyone, especially kids – and kids of all ages.
