WHAT IS HYPNOBABIES?

Hypnobabies is a best-selling Hypnobirthing course with complete evidence-based
childbirth education and includes medical grade, somnambulistic hypnosis. We
incorporate binaural beats in our hypnosis tracks’ background music for
hemispheric synchronization and deeper, more instant induction into hypnosis.
Our Hypnobirthing students also enjoy “eyes-open childbirth hypnosis” during
labor, remaining deeply in hypnosis and more comfortable even while walking,
talking, and changing positions; being as mobile as they would like. Hypnobabies
is well-known for helping people create much shorter, easier and more
comfortable labors, making childbirth the joyful experience it was meant to be!

ALYSSA’S HEALING HYPNOBABIES HOSPITAL BIRTH

Alyssa’s Healing Hypnobabies Hospital Birth “This was the healing birth that I
deserved and truly manifested through Hypnobabies. Never have I felt so
empowered and confident in my abilities as a mother.” I was introduced to
Hypnobabies by my massage therapist and boy am I grateful! To preface, my
pregnancy was filled with many challenges. Early on, I was diagnosed with
hyperemesis gravidarum, had severe iron deficiency anemia and experienced
increased anxiety, especially about my health and the health of my baby. The
first 7 months were some of the most trying months of my entire life.
Thankfully, everything began […]

AMY’S AMAZING HYPNOBABIES HOSPITAL BIRTH

Amy’s Amazing Hypnobabies Hospital Birth “I told the nurses and doctor about my
plan and they let me mostly be, which was listening to the Hypnobabies Easy
First Stage track (Hypnobabies main birthing day track) on repeat.” I am back
from the hospital and I have to thank you for giving me the tools and skills to
go through the birth I wanted. I had my second boy. My first birth I had
enrolled in Hypnobabies after hearing about it from a birthing class. I was late
signing up (around 30 weeks at that time) and although I did a […]

WHAT MAKES HYPNOBABIES SO SUCCESSFUL?

FAQ: What makes Hypnobabies so successful? The main element in Hypnobabies that
is responsible for creating an easier, more comfortable birth experience is …
deep, somnambulistic HYPNOSIS. In Hypnobabies, we use a very deep form of
hypnosis which takes students far beyond deep relaxation and breathing
techniques. Hypnosis actually conditions the mind, through prior training, to
convert birthing sensations from painful sensations to comfortable, sometimes
pleasurable ones. Normal birthing sensations are still experienced by our
students; pressure, stretching, pushing, and tightening, as well as the
movements of the baby, and they can be experienced with less discomfort by using
medical-grade […]

PREPARING MENTALLY AND EMOTIONALLY FOR A MORE JOYFUL BIRTH

Although pregnancy can be a stressful time for some people, there are ways to
make it much easier, and becoming proactive about preparing for your upcoming
birth is a major one. Many of us learn how to prepare physically for an easier
birth by doing yoga, Spinning Babies techniques and prenatal exercise, but it is
equally important to prepare our minds and therefore, our emotions! Here are
some steps to take that will help you feel more calm, relaxed, and confident
during pregnancy, and allow you more joy. Meditation  Meditate or do hypnosis
every day. Meditating daily has been shown […]

REBECCA’S PEACEFUL CALM HYPNOBABIES BIRTHING

Rebecca’s Peaceful Calm Hypnobabies Birthing “Overall Hypnobabies helped me
incredibly throughout my birthing journey with my second son, and I know I
wouldn’t have had the confidence, peace and calmness to stay home nearly as long
as I did if it hadn’t been for Hypnobabies and using my techniques at home.” I
originally found out about Hypnobabies through interviewing different Doulas and
their recommendations. Hypnobabies appealed to me, because I was determined for
a unmedicated birth, and a comfortable birth. My first birth didn’t go the way I
had hoped, and I did end up getting an epidural, but I […]

ALISON’S CONFIDENT EMPOWERING HYPNOBABIES BIRTH

Alison’s Confident Empowering Hypnobabies Birth “Having the Hypnobabies tracks
playing in my ear was incredibly helpful in my process. Hearing a calming voice,
offering in the moment mindsets was crucial. The Joyful Affirmations that I had
listened to daily all came to me.” My second child turned one this summer. I
cannot believe how quickly that went. They say “don’t blink” and that “time
flies” when you have children, and “they” say that for a reason. The days are
long but the years are short. And so it feels timely that as his mother I would
reflect on this past […]

IMPROVEMENT IN MEDICAL LANGUAGE – OBSTETRICS

Improving Medical Language/Suggestions/Messages  Although pregnancy and
childbirth are not illnesses, pregnant women/people typically encounter many
medical procedures, tests, and interactions with medical personnel as well as
other birth professionals such as childbirth educators and doulas. The language
used by those who work with expectant couples can be extremely positive and
encouraging, or it can be inadvertently detrimental to a healthy and confident
pregnancy and birth. Whether the woman/person is at a prenatal appointment or
already in their birthing, they are affected greatly by those chosen to care for
them and is highly suggestible to the messages they provide. This is […]

Hypnobabies Accessibility Statement

ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

 * www.hypnobabies.com
 * June 24, 2024

COMPLIANCE STATUS

We firmly believe that the internet should be available and accessible to
anyone, and are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the
widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability.

To fulfill this, we aim to adhere as strictly as possible to the World Wide Web
Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA
level. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people
with a wide array of disabilities. Complying with those guidelines helps us
ensure that the website is accessible to all people: blind people, people with
motor impairments, visual impairment, cognitive disabilities, and more.

This website utilizes various technologies that are meant to make it as
accessible as possible at all times. We utilize an accessibility interface that
allows persons with specific disabilities to adjust the website’s UI (user
interface) and design it to their personal needs.

Additionally, the website utilizes an AI-based application that runs in the
background and optimizes its accessibility level constantly. This application
remediates the website’s HTML, adapts Its functionality and behavior for
screen-readers used by the blind users, and for keyboard functions used by
individuals with motor impairments.

If you’ve found a malfunction or have ideas for improvement, we’ll be happy to
hear from you. You can reach out to the website’s operators by using the
following email

SCREEN-READER AND KEYBOARD NAVIGATION

Our website implements the ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet
Applications) technique, alongside various different behavioral changes, to
ensure blind users visiting with screen-readers are able to read, comprehend,
and enjoy the website’s functions. As soon as a user with a screen-reader enters
your site, they immediately receive a prompt to enter the Screen-Reader Profile
so they can browse and operate your site effectively. Here’s how our website
covers some of the most important screen-reader requirements, alongside console
screenshots of code examples:

 1. Screen-reader optimization: we run a background process that learns the
website’s components from top to bottom, to ensure ongoing compliance even
when updating the website. In this process, we provide screen-readers with
meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes. For example, we provide
accurate form labels; descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons,
    search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs;
element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogues (popups), and others.
Additionally, the background process scans all the website’s images and
provides an accurate and meaningful image-object-recognition-based
description as an ALT (alternate text) tag for images that are not
described. It will also extract texts that are embedded within the image,
using an OCR (optical character recognition) technology. To turn on
screen-reader adjustments at any time, users need only to press the Alt+1
keyboard combination. Screen-reader users also get automatic announcements
to turn the Screen-reader mode on as soon as they enter the website.

These adjustments are compatible with all popular screen readers, including
    JAWS and NVDA.

 2. Keyboard navigation optimization: The background process also adjusts the
website’s HTML, and adds various behaviors using JavaScript code to make the
website operable by the keyboard. This includes the ability to navigate the
website using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, operate dropdowns with the arrow
keys, close them with Esc, trigger buttons and links using the Enter key,
navigate between radio and checkbox elements using the arrow keys, and fill
them in with the Spacebar or Enter key.Additionally, keyboard users will
find quick-navigation and content-skip menus, available at any time by
clicking Alt+1, or as the first elements of the site while navigating with
the keyboard. The background process also handles triggered popups by moving
the keyboard focus towards them as soon as they appear, and not allow the
    focus drift outside it.

Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F”
(forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.

issues due to automatic audio playing. This option lets users mute the
    entire website instantly.

and Wiktionary, allowing people with cognitive disorders to decipher
meanings of phrases, initials, slang, and others.
 7. Additional functions – we provide users the option to change cursor color
and size, use a printing mode, enable a virtual keyboard, and many other
    functions.

BROWSER AND ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY COMPATIBILITY

We aim to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies as
possible, so our users can choose the best fitting tools for them, with as few
limitations as possible. Therefore, we have worked very hard to be able to
support all major systems that comprise over 95% of the user market share
including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera and Microsoft
Edge, JAWS and NVDA (screen readers).

NOTES, COMMENTS, AND FEEDBACK

Despite our very best efforts to allow anybody to adjust the website to their
needs. There may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible, are
in the process of becoming accessible, or are lacking an adequate technological
solution to make them accessible. Still, we are continually improving our
accessibility, adding, updating and improving its options and features, and
developing and adopting new technologies. All this is meant to reach the optimal
level of accessibility, following technological advancements. For any
assistance, please reach out to
