OVERVIEW

Generate a static QR code and link for visitors to easily access the sign-in
process via their own devices, creating a flexible and user-friendly option for
visitor management that admins can control.

ENABLE STATIC QR CODE FEATURE

 1. Navigate to Visitors > Settings > Welcome screen > Touchless walk-ins on the
    Envoy web dashboard.

 2. Toggle on the option that reads Static QR code.

GENERATE A STATIC QR CODE

 1. Select Visitors > Settings > Welcome screen > Touchless walk-ins from the
left hand side menu on the web dashboard.

 2. Under the Static QR code section select Add a QR code.

 3. This will generate a static QR code that visitors can scan to sign in.

EDIT STATIC QR CODE NAME

 1. Go to Visitors > Settings > Welcome screen > Touchless walk-ins from the
left hand side menu of the Envoy dashboard.

 2. Under the Static QR code section locate the QR code you want to edit and
click on the pencil icon on the right.

 3. This will bring up the detail page for your code. Type in the name for your
QR code under the Nickname field.

 4. Click Save to make the update.

DOWNLOAD STATIC QR CODE OR COPY LINK

 1. On the Envoy web dashboard go to Visitors > Settings > Welcome screen >
    Touchless walk-ins.

click on the PNG or SVG option. This will download the QR code to your
    computer.

 3. If you would like to provide your visitor with a link that they can pull up
on their device, select the copy icon under the Link column for your QR
    code.

DISPLAY SIGN-IN ON A WEBPAGE

If you want to host sign-in on a computer or android tablet, you'll need to
modify the link to allow multiple sign-in sessions.

 1. Navigate to Visitors > Settings > Welcome screen > Touchless walk-ins on the
    web dashboard.

 2. Under Static QR code section locate the QR code you want to and hit Copy
    Link.

to display the page on any device with a web browser.

REGENERATE STATIC QR CODE

 1. Navigate to Visitors > Settings > Welcome screen > Touchless walk-ins on the
    web dashboard.

 2. Under the Static QR code section locate the QR code you want to regenerate
and click on the pencil icon on the right.

    link unusable.

DELETE STATIC QR CODE

    web dashboard.

 2. Under the Static QR code section locate the QR code you want to delete and
click on the pencil icon located to the right.

 3. The detail page for the QR code will pull up, click on the Delete option
    toward the bottom left.

 4. A new pop up window will appear asking you to confirm the deletion, click
    Delete.

DISABLE STATIC QR CODE FEATURE

 1. Navigate to Visitors > Settings > Welcome screen > Touchless walk-ins on the
    Envoy web dashboard.

 2. Toggle off the option that reads Static QR code.

 3. Once disabled all static QR codes and their associated links created under
your location will disappear and be rendered unusable. If this feature is
re-enabled, any previously active static QR codes will still be available.

SIGN-OUT VIA STATIC QR CODE

Visitors that sign-in via the static QR code can also use it to sign-out. This
feature only works within 24 hours of sign-in.

 1. Visitor uses their device to sign-in via static QR code.

 2. After their visit, they scan the QR code again with their device.

 3. They will be prompted to sign-out.

Note: This will only work for visitors who sign in via static QR code. Visitors
who sign-in via the kiosk or dashboard will not be able to use this feature.

CONNECT A PRINTER TO STATIC QR CODE

Easily connect a printer to your static QR code to ensure that visitors who sign
in using your QR code or link have a badge printed out.

 1. If you haven't set up a printer at your location yet, please follow our
printer guides for one of our two options:

     1. Classic printer setup

         1. If you need to add multiple printers, see our article here.

         2. If using our classic printer setup you must have your printer
connected to the Visitors kiosk in order for badges to print.

     2. Envoy Print

         1. If using Envoy Print you do not need to have your printer connected
to the Visitors kiosk to have badges print.

 2. Go to Visitors > Settings > Welcome screen > Touchless walk-ins from the
left hand side menu of the Envoy dashboard.

 3. Under the Static QR code section locate the QR code you want to connect a
printer to and click on the pencil icon on the right.

 4. The detail page for your code will pop up. Click on the Select a printer
dropdown caret and choose the printer you want to connect.

 5. Select Save. Your printer will now print out badges for any visitor who
signs in using the associated static QR code or link.

HOW STATIC QR CODES WORK FOR VISITORS

This feature enables multiple visitors to scan the generated QR code and sign-in
via their own devices simultaneously.

 1. Your visitor will scan the static QR code generated by your workplace admin
    using their device.

 2. This will direct your visitor to a new webpage to complete the registration
    process and sign in.

 3. If you have a printer connected and configured, a badge will print out for
your visitor after they are done signing in.

HOW STATIC LINKS WORK FOR VISITORS

This feature allows your team to place the static link in a webpage on a device
of your choosing or share directly with your visitors. From here visitors can
complete the registration process and sign in through that web experience. If
you have a printer connected and configured, a badge will print out for your
visitor after they are done signing in.

FAQ

 * You can add up to 10 static QR codes per location.

 * Signing in with a static QR code does work with our returning visitors
   feature if enabled.
