WELCOME

Welcome to my website, I hope the sense of adventure I feel for drawing and
painting is conveyed here.

My art practice is founded on my love for mark-making and colour. I enjoy
working with a variety of media including charcoal, pencil, ink, watercolour,
oil pastel and water-based oil colour.

My artwork has been described as both “full of life” and “uplifting”: I respond
to nature, people, and fleeting moments in time. My response to nature reflects
seasonal changes, history in landscape, and the stories interwoven in the
natural world. I am interested in the way people connect with their environment,
and the magical moments which transform the everyday. My art is expressive,
playful, and imaginative, and concerned with the fleeting, liminal and yet to be
revealed…


CROESO

Croeso i fy ngwefan. Rwy’n gobeithio caiff y synnwyr o antur rwy’n ei deimlo ar
gyfer darlunio a phaentio ei gyfleu yma.

Mae fy arferion celf wedi’u seilio ar fy nghariad at wneud marciau a lliw. Rwy’n
mwynhau gweithio gydag amrywiaeth o gyfryngau gan gynnwys siarcol, pensil, inc,
dyfrlliw, pastel olew a lliw olew sy’n seiliedig ar ddŵr.

Disgrifiwyd fy ngwaith celf fel un “llawn bywyd” ac “ymgodol”: Rwy’n ymateb i
natur, pobl ac eiliadau diflanedig mewn amser. Mae fy ymateb i natur yn
adlewyrchu newidiadau tymhorol, hanes mewn tirwedd, a’r straeon sydd wedi’u
plethu yn y byd naturiol. Mae gen i diddordeb yn y ffordd mae pobl yn cysylltu
gyda’u hamgylchedd, a’r eiliadau hudol sy’n trawsnewid y beunyddiol. Mae fy
nghelf yn fynegiadol, yn chwareus ac yn ddychmygus, ac yn ymwneud â’r
diflanedig, trothwyol, a’r hyn sydd eto i’w datgelu…
