All applications are carefully reviewed by the Financial Narrative team.

FAQ

Who can be a Financial Narrative member?

Those who are eligible for membership include:
 * Senior-level executives, usually with 15+ years of industry experience
 * In-house leaders at banks, fintechs, insurance, and other financial services
   organizations
 * Leaders who are growing their careers
 * Community-members who want to connect with and help others in the industry
 * Located anywhere in the world – most membership benefits are available
   regardless of location

What happens after I join?

We’ll reach out to you about the status of your membership within 2 weeks. If
your membership is approved, we’ll send you the information for joining the
community and upcoming events and programs.
When does my membership expire?

All the info about your membership is available in your Account, which you can
access by logging in. You will find your expiration date by clicking on your
face in the menu bar and going into your Profile – Memberships section.

Financial Narrative End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and Financial
Narrative and governs use of this app made available through the Apple App
Store. By installing the Financial Narrative App, you agree to be bound by this
Agreement and understand that there is no tolerance for objectionable content.
If you do not agree with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, you are not
entitled to use the Financial Narrative App.

In order to ensure Financial Narrative provides the best experience possible for
everyone, we strongly enforce a no tolerance policy for objectionable content.
If you see inappropriate content, please use the “Report as offensive” feature
found under each post.

1. Parties

This Agreement is between you and Financial Narrative only, and not Apple, Inc.
(“Apple”). Notwithstanding the foregoing, you acknowledge that Apple and its
subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of this Agreement and Apple has the
right to enforce this Agreement against you. Financial Narrative, not Apple, is
solely responsible for the Financial Narrative App and its content.

2. Privacy

Financial Narrative may collect and use information about your usage of the
Financial Narrative App, including certain types of information from and about
your device. Financial Narrative may use this information, as long as it is in a
form that does not personally identify you, to measure the use and performance
of the Financial Narrative App.

3. Limited License

Financial Narrative grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable,
revocable license to use the Financial Narrative App for your personal,
non-commercial purposes. You may only use the Financial Narrative App on Apple
devices that you own or control and as permitted by the App Store Terms of
Service.

4. Age Restrictions

By using the Financial Narrative App, you represent and warrant that (a) you are
17 years of age or older and you agree to be bound by this Agreement; (b) if you
are under 17 years of age, you have obtained verifiable consent from a parent or
legal guardian; and (c) your use of the Financial Narrative App does not violate
any applicable law or regulation. Your access to the Financial Narrative App may
be terminated without warning if Financial Narrative believes, in its sole
discretion, that you are under the age of 17 years and have not obtained
verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. If you are a parent or legal
guardian and you provide your consent to your child’s use of the Financial
Narrative App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement in respect to your
child’s use of the Financial Narrative App.

5. Objectionable Content Policy

Content may not be submitted to Financial Narrative, who will moderate all
content and ultimately decide whether or not to post a submission to the extent
such content includes, is in conjunction with, or alongside any, Objectionable
Content. Objectionable Content includes, but is not limited to: (i) sexually
explicit materials; (ii) obscene, defamatory, libelous, slanderous, violent
and/or unlawful content or profanity; (iii) content that infringes upon the
rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or
other personal or proprietary right, or that is deceptive or fraudulent; (iv)
content that promotes the use or sale of illegal or regulated substances,
tobacco products, ammunition and/or firearms; and (v) gambling, including
without limitation, any online casino, sports books, bingo or poker.

6. Warranty

Financial Narrative disclaims all warranties about the Financial Narrative App
to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent any warranty exists under
law that cannot be disclaimed, Financial Narrative, not Apple, shall be solely
responsible for such warranty.

7. Maintenance and Support

Financial Narrative does provide minimal maintenance or support for it but not
to the extent that any maintenance or support is required by applicable law,
Financial Narrative, not Apple, shall be obligated to furnish any such
maintenance or support.

8. Product Claims

Financial Narrative, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you
relating to the Financial Narrative App or use of it, including, but not limited
to: (i) any product liability claim; (ii) any claim that the Financial Narrative
App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and
(iii) any claim arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed an admission that you may have such
claims.

9. Third Party Intellectual Property Claims

Financial Narrative shall not be obligated to indemnify or defend you with
respect to any third party claim arising out or relating to the Financial
Narrative App. To the extent Financial Narrative is required to provide
indemnification by applicable law, Financial Narrative, not Apple, shall be
solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of
any claim that the Financial Narrative App or your use of it infringes any third
party intellectual property right.

For members of the media, Financial Narrative’s mission is to facilitate
connections with and between financial marcomms leaders.

Our Commitment to User Transparency

All active profiles on Financial Narrative are public and transparent. To
deliver value to our community and protect it against spam, it is essential for
Financial Narrative platform users to know with certainty the identity of other
users with whom they interact.

Our Privacy Practices

Financial Narrative may collect personal information from users who interact
with our services, including website visitors, individual experts and their
representatives, and brands, registered media users, and other demand-side
clients who are looking to connect with financial marcomms leaders. These
individuals may provide information about themselves and about each other (for
example, PR professionals who represent leaders and provide information about
their clients). We may also collect information from third parties and combine
with it with the information provided by platform users.

Information We Collect About Our Members

 * Contact details, such as name, email address, location, address and phone
   number;
 * Account data, such as connections and interactions on our platform, including
   interactions between members, transaction history, other statistics about
   member’s profiles and use of the platform, and feedback from demand-side
   clients on experts’ engagement with them;
 * Communications that we exchange with members, including when they contact us
   with questions, feedback, or otherwise;
 * Marketing data, such as member’s preferences for receiving our marketing
   communications, and details about their engagement with those communications;
   and
 * Other information experts may choose to provide on our platform.

How We Use Personal Information

We use the personal information for the following purposes:

Service delivery, including to:

 * Help to facilitate connections between our members
 * Provide, operate, and improve our services and our business;
 * Communicate about our services, including by sending announcements, updates,
   and support and administrative messages;
 * Understand users’ needs and interests, and personalize their experience
   within the services and communications; and
 * Provide support, and respond to requests, questions, and feedback.

Research and development, including to:

 * Develop new features, products, and services; and
 * Create aggregated, de-identified, or other anonymous data or analytics

Marketing and advertising, including to:

 * Market our services and other services that we believe may be of interest to
   our users; users may opt out of our marketing communications as described in
   the “Opt out of marketing communications” section below.
 * Interest-based advertising. We engage our advertising partners, including
   third party advertising companies and social media companies, to advertise
   our and our customers’ and partners’ services. We and our advertising
   partners may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information
   about users’ interaction over time across the web, our
   communications, and other online services, and use that information to serve
   online ads.

Notice to European Residents

Users who are residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or
Switzerland (collectively, “Europe”) may have additional rights described in
this Notice to European Residents, to the extent the General Data Protection
Regulation or the UK GDPR (collectively, the “GDPR”) apply to our interactions
with those users.

Information Security

We employ a number of technical, organizational, and physical safeguards
designed to protect the personal information we collect. However, no security
measures are failsafe and we cannot guarantee the security of personal
information.

Please note that we cannot prevent users or third parties from collecting
information on Financial Narrative, including by automated means, scraping, etc.
We are not responsible for the actions of these users or third parties
