High pressure will keep fair weather over the region today and Thursday with
varying amounts of cloud cover. Cloud will become extensive by Thursday night,
however, as a low pressure system begins to approach from the southwest. Snow
will follow later Thursday night, and will likely transition to rain over
southern areas on Friday morning. The precipitation is expected to pull away
again by about midday on Friday. Total snowfall amounts appear likely to reach
