THE BEGINNING OF IT ALL

Kenbrit Feeds Limited is a member of Nyangoye Farms Group started by the late
Mzee John Magadi in the immediate post-independence of Kenya. After serving in
the Royal Army in the World War II, Mzee retired home in Siaya County to embark
on peasant farming producing show-prize winning produce of all sorts. He was the
first to introduce Napier grass in Western Kenya for zero grazing. Mzee was
probably the first small scale farmer to introduce co-op farming group in Kenya
mobilizing rural farmers to adopt modern farming practices. Presently, Nyangoye
Farms are involved in fish farming, Acqua tourism, horticulture and livestock
production. Kenbrit Feeds Limited has been borne out of concern with farmers’
frustration with chronic poor-quality feeds. It is the flag bearer of Nyangoye
Farms producing high quality extruded fish feeds as well as poultry feeds, dairy
feeds and pig feeds. Also in the range is dog food.

The extrusion is unique of its kind in feed processing whereby the feed is
pressure cooked under high temperature to make it more digestible and devoid of
pathogens. With this process we are able to produce floating tilapia feeds to
increase intake and improve growth rate while minimising water pollution. For
farmers involved in pig production our extruded piglet mini pellets are ideal
for reducing the risk of weaning stress and achieving superior growth rate.

international repute in animal feeding and management both here in Kenya and
Europe. With a global network we are in position to lead in the acquisition of
the latest information on animal nutrition and feed production techniques. We
are registered with the Kenya Bureau of Standards. Our raw materials are quality
