OXOBUTTON 2


THE FIRST SMART BUTTON THAT IS MORE THAN JUST A BUTTON.

The new Oxobutton 2 monitors temperature, humidity and light and can be easily
adapted to different applications thanks to extensive configuration options. It
can be used as a button and as a room sensor.




BUTTON MODE


IN BUTTON MODE, FIVE PICTOGRAMS ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE TO COVER DIFFERENT
APPLICATIONS.


BELL

Bell at reception, at doors to practices, administrative buildings, offices,
warehouses for receiving goods etc.
Service request for catering services in restaurants, hotels and other service
businesses.


FIRE ALARM

Fire alarm in private buildings, at events or in public spaces.


MEDICAL EMERGENCY

Requesting medical help or assistance in care facilities, hospitals, private
health care facilities. public administrations, etc.


SERVICE

Service requests in catering establishments. Ordering food, drinks, etc.


TECHNICAL ALARM

Manual triggering of technical malfunctions (defects, contamination)
Request for technical assistance (in public buildings, train stations, etc.)


SENSOR MODE


IN SENSOR MODE, THE UNIT MONITORS TEMPERATURE, HUMIDITY AND LIGHT. BY
CONFIGURATION, THE SAMPLING RATE, OFFSETS, HYSTERESIS AND SEVERAL THRESHOLD
VALUES CAN BE DEFINED. THESE DETERMINE WHEN THE SERVER IS TO BE INFORMED ABOUT
CHANGES.


TEMPERATURE

Temperature with ±0.2 °C accuracy 0-50 degrees Celsius


HUMIDITY

Humidity with ±2 %RH accuracy


LIGHT DETECTION

Highlight detection in a wide dynamic range of 18'000'000:1. Value range from
0-65536


CONFIGURATION OF THE HYSTERESIS

Configuration of the hysteresis, i.e. the change value that triggers a
transmission. Standard configuration: 0.5 °C and 5 %RH.


CONFIGURATION OF UP TO 6 THRESHOLDS

Configuration of up to six threshold values per sensor value. If the value is
exceeded or not reached, a transmission is triggered.


LONG-TERM MONITORING OF A ROOM

Long-term monitoring of a room with a fixed sampling interval. For example, the
data can be sent to the server once every hour.


HIGH-QUALITY WORKMANSHIP, ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES


BISTABLE E-INK DISPLAY WITH 200X200 PIXEL RESOLUTION

Bistable e-ink display with 200x200 pixel resolution.

The display is high-contrast and reminiscent of paper. There are no light
emissions, i.e. no LEDs light up at night. This makes the unit well suited for
bedrooms, hotel rooms, theatres/cinemas, etc.

The high-quality glass cover is coated with an anti-grease alloy.


THERE IS A BUTTON ON THE TOP

There is a button on the top. Three more buttons are on the side. With the
middle button you can switch between the modes.

With these buttons, the unit can be adapted to different use cases.


TRANSMISSION TAKES PLACE VIA THE LORAWAN PROTOCOL

Transmission takes place via the LoRaWan protocol. For firmware updates, the
units can be connected to the smartphone or PC via Bluetooth.

The optimised hardware of the new Oxobutton has improved antenna performance by
approx. 10dB compared to the previous model.


CR2477 BUTTON CELL

The button contains a CR2477 button cell. This battery has a charge of 1000mAh.

Compared to the previous model, this increases the battery power by 3.5 times.


ASSEMBLY

The button can be attached to walls with double-sided adhesive tape.

No screws need to be loosened to change the battery.
