L.E.E.D. IRONSMITH RECYCLES!

IRONSMITH cast products are made from 100% post consumer recycled metals mostly
from scrap vehicle parts and are 100% recyclable.
Steel products are produced from standard structural steel shapes from leading
steel producers which typically use 75% recycled metal (by L.E.E.D calculation
%Post-consumer +1/2 % post industrial). Steel is 100% recyclable.

BUY AMERICA / BUY AMERICAN

IRONSMITH, INC. has a number of different product lines. Our products are
primarily made at facilities in Tijuana, BC Mexico.  Because unique "Buy
America/Buy American" requirements are set forth in individual contracts for
publicly-financed projects, we will be happy to assist you in determining, on a
product-specific basis, whether product can be produced to satisfy the project
requirements. Steel fabricated frames and Paver-Grate® products can be produced
in the US from US produced steel to Buy America specifications on request. Since
Buy America requires special documentation of US steel origin Buy America must
be specified at time of quote. Aluminum and copper alloy products are typically
not affected by Buy America requirements. Cast iron products do not qualify
under Buy America

We have tried to make the site as intuitive as we can. You can browse products

the SEARCH is useful if you have criteria, such as size and tree opening, and
you want to know which products fit that criteria.

We welcome and enjoy custom work. From small modifications to complete new

LEAD TIMES

All IRONSMITH product is made to order. We do not inventory product. Lead times
vary by product, time of the year, etc. We will make every effort to work with
your time limits but it is very important to contact us to discuss lead times as
early in your project as possible.

Frames can often be shipped earlier than grates if needed to make your flat work
schedule. There is usually additional freight charges incurred for this. All
IRONSMITH quotations show the extra charge for shipping frames early.

WARRANTY

We are proud of our products and will work hard to ensure that you are too. We
have a five year warranty on materials and workmanship (excluding finishes)
