HI THERE! I’M


DR. NAKIA HAMLETT

I am just like you! I have always been a dedicated employee who conscientiously
went above and beyond to do an exceptional job. But…at what cost to my own
mental health and wellness??

Over the years, I worked in various roles as a psychologist, both as a leader
and supervisee. I deeply understand how it feels to be an employee struggling
with breath-taking burnout, questioning the meaning and purpose behind my work
while experiencing the obvious (and less obvious) impacts on my mental and
physical health. 

For the past 15-months, I served as Interim Senior Vice President in a complex
college setting, which only further enhanced my understanding of leadership,
organizational dynamics, and what truly leads to transformation.

In 2021, I created Complex Psychology to help organizations innovate in
executive leadership, organizational change, assessment, group dynamics,
DEI-related employee training, and organizational culture and climate. 

Using an integrated cutting edge framework and innovative learning and
development tools, I help organizations, leaders, and teams reimagine
organizational life, leadership, and create sustainable systems and practices to
ensure team effectiveness and employee wellbeing.  

Together, we can co-create something exceptional that could only happen right
