HOME

INFRASTRUCTURE AND SUSTAINABILITY (I&S) IS A UNIT OF THE DIVISION OF
ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE. WE SUPPORT OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE THROUGH INNOVATIVE
AND EFFICIENT PHYSICAL INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES FOR THE GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF
TECHNOLOGY.  

The unit is comprised of 14 departments that service the campus: Building
Engineering and Energy Strategies (BEES), Building Maintenance, Capital Planning
and Space Management, Custodial, Data & Analytics, Design & Construction,
Environmental Health & Safety, Fleet Services, Keys & Locks, Landscape Services,
Solid Waste and Recycling, Staging, Sustainability & Building Operations, and
Utilities & Engineering. 

We are a team of dedicated professionals responsible for providing sustainable,
safe and well-maintained facilities throughout the campus.

CONSTRUCTION NOTICES

TECHWOOD DRIVE AND HEMPHILL AVENUE ROAD CLOSURES MARCH 10 - 12

The City of Atlanta will shut down Techwood Drive between North Avenue and Bobby
Dodd Way between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, and Friday, March 11,
to repave the roadway and apply temporary striping.

WEBER BUILDING FIRE PROTECTION PROJECT PLANNED FOR FEB. 14 - MAR. 11, AFFECTS
PEDESTRIAN ROUTES

The fire suppression system infrastructure project will occur mid-February
through mid-March and will impact pedestrian walkway.

ECOCOMMONS PATH EXTENSION IMPROVEMENTS BEGIN

Improvements to the gravel drive located between State Street and Atlantic Drive
will occur January - April.

Georgia Tech will celebrate its 25th annual Earth Day with a 4-day schedule of
events this week.

WHO’S DOWN FOR EARTH DAY?

A few events have opened registration or are already collecting items — so get a
head start on your Earth Day plans.

WHITE OAK NEAR TECH TOWER PLANNED FOR REMOVAL

The white oak beside the staircase leading up to Tech Tower is failing and will
be removed over winter break.
