Dall’esperienza dell’Associazione Culturale e Naturalistica
Etna’ngeniousa nasce Catania Sotterranea, alla scoperta della città nascosta.
Itinerari personalizzati, con guide specializzate autorizzate dalla Regione
Siciliana, che ti faranno vivere il fascino di una storia millenaria che
continua a vivere sotto i nostri piedi, nascosta ai nostri occhi.

Come una Fenice, risorta dalle sue ceneri per ben sette volte, Catania racchiude
in sé, nel sottosuolo, il suo passato. Un passato sopravvissuto a guerre,
terremoti, eruzioni e che continua a vivere sotto sotto le “basole”…

Esistono tante città sotterranee, frutto di una stratificazione storica che ha
portato ad edificare la città settecentesca sulle antiche vestigia greche e
romane. Ma c’è anche una città segreta, che cela le preziose testimonianze della
sua storia dentro i cortili o fra i vicoli del centro storico, luoghi occultati,
che oggi si affacciano alla luce sotto una nuova veste, mantenendo le radici
restano ben salde nel passato.

Catania Sotterranea propone percorsi di trekking urbano unici nel loro genere
per visitare in modo diverso ed esclusivo, alla ricerca di indizi, tracce e
testimonianze del passato.
