RECEIVING SECURE EMAILS

RECEIVING A SECURE EMAIL

With the development of federal regulations and state privacy laws, it is
important that all communications containing sensitive information be encrypted.

To help facilitate the safe transfer of your sensitive information, a bank
representative will send you a secure email via the Secure Email portal. You can
read the message by clicking the click here to read message link in the email.

CAN'T FIND YOUR SECURE EMAIL?

Check your junk or spam folders within your email inbox. Many times, mail will
be auto-routed to those folders.

REGISTRATION AND SIGN IN

Enter the email address for which you received the secure message.

Receiving Secure Email for the First Time?
You will be prompted to register your email address. To complete the
registration process, two (2) separate emails will be sent to validate your
identity:

 1. An email with a unique validation code; and
 2. An email with a unique url.

After Registering Your Email Address for the First Time
After registering your email address, you can revisit the link in the email
message you received. Re-enter your email address and click Continue. You’ll be
prompted to enter your password.

NOTE: If you are signing in and forgot your password, click the Forgot Password
link when it appears.

OPENING THE ATTACHMENT

To retrieve the attachment(s) sent to you, click on the attachment to open the
document.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You may receive a security prompt. Click Allow to continue
downloading the attachment(s).

REPLYING OR SENDING ANOTHER MESSAGE

 1. To send an email with sensitive information back to an associate, click
either the New Message or Reply button.
 2. Click the Attach a file button to attach any sensitive documents you wish to
    send to an associate.
 3. Once you have finished crafting your message and attaching the necessary
document(s), click the Send button to securely send your message.

RETURNING TO YOUR SECURE EMAIL MESSAGES & MESSAGE EXPIRATION

All email messages sent via the Secure Email portal will expire after 30 days.
Before the 30 day period ends, you can return to the Secure Email portal from
the original email message sent to you or visit
https://securemail.firsthorizon.com/mail (opens in a new tab). If you need to
access the message after 30 days, contact a bank representative and ask them to
resend the information.

READING A SECURE MESSAGE ON A SMART PHONE

Some mobile devices cannot download files, and some mobile devices modify HTML
files. Since your secure message is sent to you as an HTML attachment, you may
not be able to read it on your mobile device. If you have trouble reading your
secure message on your mobile device, please access your secure email on a
desktop computer.

ADDITIONAL HELP

If you experience issues, contact the First Horizon associate that sent you the
Secure Email message.
