We could simply donate to charity and feel a certain sense of personal satisfaction that the projects might still get built, but to travel and contribute, to see the work through and shake hands with people we’re helping, affirms our solidarity with them. Sumillion donates 10% of its Profits Every year Sumillion donates 10% of its Profits (PBT) to projects and charities. We’re the only IT Solution company to do this and the only company in the entire IT industry to make this commitment 2 weeks Volunteering Leave All of our staff are entitled to 2 weeks Volunteering Leave for local issues. Helping our local community, the people with whom we share our day to day lives. These have included animal sanctuaries, children’s charities and helping the homeless. Our local community Within our local community our work assists local doctors, schools, colleges and children’s services to support young people and their families with a range of issues. Enliven Mama Africa Charity Travelling to Africa to work on the projects we’ve funded to help provide safe drinking water and plant trees. To Live In H.O.P.E Partnership Support a broad range of projects and provide opportunities to volunteer on sustainable developmental projects and gain experience in the development sector. Women Empowerment Sumillion engage in a broad range of projects supporting Women’s empowerment and education and health. OUR MAIN PROJECTS CLEAN WATER PROJECT Access to safe, clean water is a basic human right, recognised by the UN in 2010; however it is still not always achieved. Our sustainable projects provide this fundamental right to thousands of people in some of the poorest remote areas. Learn More GREEN SCHOOL PROGRAM We work with primary and junior schools and up to 15,000 students to plant fruit trees from Mangoes, Avocadoes, Pawpaw, Oranges and Guavas as well as high quality shade trees. Learn More GREEN DIAMOND CLUB The Green Diamond Club was established by Sumillion as a celebration of what a group of partners with shared values on sustainability and equality can achieve. Learn More OUR PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES SUMILLION HOUSE GHANA Work has begun on Sumillion House, our dedicated accommodation for volunteers with Enliven Mama Africa. Once completed it will provide educational space and accommodation for up to 70 volunteers in Ghana.
