Smith & Associates Inc., is a full-service commercial appraisal firm with one
office serving the San Francisco Bay Area and one in Folsom serving the
Sacramento/Central Valley Region.

 

Dennis L. Smith, has over forty years of full time of appraisal experience,
holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, and a qualified expert
witness in several counties.  As the founder of Smith & Associates, Inc., he
oversees the San Francisco Bay Area operations.

 

John E. Carrothers, has over twenty-five years of full time appraisal
experience, holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, and oversees
the Sacramento/Central Valley operations.

 

Smith & Associates, Inc., is staffed with highly experienced State Certified
General Real Estate Appraisers. Commercial managers in each office work to
achieve a well-trained and reliable staff to ensure the quality and consistency
of product and customer service.  Appraisers have full-time experience ranging
from five years to over forty years with an average of twenty years.  Many of
these appraisers specialize in property type and geographic area and many hold
professional designations including the MAI and ASA designations.
