“FRIENDS In The Place They Love” is the 2nd out of 3 phases of Yusuke Hanai’s
NFT collection. These NFT Animals are limited to 500 pieces. Each individual
FRIEND is specially designed, dressed in unique hand-drawn attributes, and
treated as a high quality art piece. Animals are quintessential motifs
throughout Hanai’s practice, which often comment on environmental and animal
protection, and the camaraderie between humans and nature.

In the meantime, FRIENDS play an important role in your art-collecting voyage in

This collection is open for registered FWEN only.
A total of 500 Phase 2 NFT will drop in March 2023, opening for a raffle and
prior to phase 1 holders.

All NFT traits and attributes will be generated randomly and revealed after the

DIAMOND HANDS' RAFFLE

This pool prioritizes Hanai phase 1 holders and is for Diamond Hand NFTs ONLY.
The maximun supply is 500. More than 500 registrations will be subject to a
raffle.
Raffle results will be announced on the website.

Subject to conditions, please refer to FAQ & Discord updates.


PUBLIC

If you are not considering Diamond Hand NFTs / not a holder but are also
interested in this project, you are welcome to join the public raffle.
NFTs not claimed from the holders’ raffle will be deployed into the public
raffle as General NFTs and we’ll draw winners from the pool.
The chances of winning are as follows:

ABOUT THIS PROJECT



Yusuke Hanai is coming to the metaverse!
In the collection of PEOPLE In The Place They Love,” NFT avatars are limited in
quantities of 3000.

Phase 1 with 1000 NFTs was dropped on Feb 2022 while Phase 2 is dropping in
Feburary 2023.

The contemporary artist has been designing a collection to reflect his living
experience in his 20s. It is inspired by a now-defunct bar where the artist used
to work at and the good times he had there.

ARTIST BIO




Yusuke Hanai’s work has been exhibited globally, including in California,
London, New York, Paris, Taipei and Tokyo. Hanai has attracted an eclectic
audience due to his unique blend of Japanese-infused illustrations that depict
various countercultures. Inspired by friends in his local surfing community,
Hanai’s drawings focus on the lives of ordinary PEOPLE. He has also collaborated
with fashion brands such as Vans, Fender, Gregory and BEAMS.

Hanai’s works are highly sought-after on the market.
His first NFT work “WAKE UP BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE,” comprised of wood cabins,
paintings, and NFT animation, sold for USD$130K in a 2021 auction.
