ABOUT GIVE LOCAL 757

The Peninsula Community Foundation's goal is to work with its community partners
to identify areas where new strengths can be built and greater civic engagement
is encouraged - philanthropy is one of these areas.

The Give Local 757 Initiative is a program created by the Peninsula Community
Foundation to spark and grow local philanthropy, One way we are accomplishing
this is through the region's annual 24-hour giving day which is held each year
in the Spring. The event has united our community like no other to help raise
unrestricted funds for the organizations that strengthen the Hampton Roads
region.

Since its inception, the giving day has generated over $10.8 million and
connected thousands of news donors to hundreds of the region's local nonprofits!
The next giving day will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 beginning at
midnight.
