   AIRCRAFT MECHANICS FRATERNAL ASSOCIATION
   
   The Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association is a craft-oriented, independent
   aviation union. It is not an industrial union and represents only aircraft
   maintenance technicians/engineers (AMT/AME) and related skilled trade groups
   actively involved in the aviation industry. These employees work directly on
   aircraft and/or components, support equipment, and facilities in accordance
   with the National Mediation Board (NMB) or Canadian Industrial Relations
   Board (CIRB) rules. AMFA is committed to achieving progressive improvements
   in wages, benefits, and working conditions and elevating the standing of the
   skilled professionals it represents.

   Association currently represents over 1000 ASA members who maintain the

   AMFA was certified at L3 Harris Mas (L3) on October 18, 2022, and the
   Association currently represents approximately 40 L3 members who are a
   distinct, federally regulated trade group responsible for the repair and
   certification of the CC150 Polaris aircraft fleet, air-to-air refueling
   aircraft, and the Prime Minister’s aircraft.

   currently represents approximately 78 aircraft maintenance engineers and

   Southwest Airlines
   AMFA was certified at Southwest Airlines on January 27, 2003, and the
   Association currently represents over 3,300 members who maintain the airlines
   fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft. The current contracts become amendable August
   16, 2027, for the Aircraft Maintenance Technicians; July 31, 2027, for the
   Appearance Technicians; and November 16, 2027, for the Facilities Maintenance
   Technicians.

   AMFA was certified at Spirit Airlines (NK) on August 26, 2022, and the
   Association currently negotiating with the airline to achieve this group's
   very first Collective Bargaining Agreement. AMFA is the first and only

   AMFA was certified at Sun Country Airlines (SCA) on June 9, 2022, and the
   Association currently represents approximately 170 aircraft mechanic and
   related employees who maintain the Company's passenger and freighter

   Collective Bargaining Agreement.

   Become an aircraft Technician
   
   AMFA is committed to providing our members and those interested in the craft
   a means to research and secure the necessary aircraft mechanic certificate
   ratings (also commonly referred to as licenses) to maintain aircraft. The
   Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires these licenses to perform
   maintenance on aircraft and they are essential to our craft. The main
   licenses are known as the Airframe and the Powerplant (also known as A&P).
   They are aptly regarded as “licenses to learn,” because in our craft there is
   much opportunity to continue learning when one begins utilizing their
   education and training out in the field.

   AMFA has a mobile device app for its members. Available for both Android and
   Apple tablets and phones, the app is a quick link to the latest news and
   information from your Union. With built in GrievTrac access, the app also
   gives our contract representatives private access to file grievances on
   behalf of our members.
   
   In addition to being a great tool to get Association news, the AMFA app is a
   quick and easy way for members to access their AMFA Number. The AMFA app is
   only available for download from the AMFA National Website; it is not found
   on iTunes.
