SVSC was destroyed in the flooding that hit Montpelier on July 10th. Our
facility has joined Stonecliff in Lebanon, New Hampshire. All telephones calls

Stonecliff Veterinary Surgical Center was destroyed by the flooding that hit
Montpelier on July 10th. This “once in a 100 year” flood reached the second
floor of the building and severely damaged the inside of the hospital.

SPOTLIGHT: ORTHOPEDIC SURGICAL SERVICES

A big part of our veterinary practice involves solving lameness issues in dogs.
Dr Dan Kelly has been performing TPLO’s (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) to
correct anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries for over 25 years. He was the
first veterinarian in Vermont licensed to perform this procedure and because of
his experience he recently spoke at a orthopedic conference in Boston. Over the
years he has added other surgical techniques to correct ACL tears. Clients have
travelled with their dogs from as far away as Russia to have Dr. Kelly operate
on their broken dogs. Recently he got a first hand glimpse of what his clients
are faced with when their dog has torn an ACL. The Kelly’s young Labrador
ruptured her ligament and the family was confronted with many of the same
questions and challenges that his clients had faced for years . Watch as they go
down the path so many pet parents have journeyed in the quest to repair their
dogs hind leg.

Kelly has been supporting area veterinarians by providing a place for their
clients to have complicated surgeries performed without having to send them to a
more expensive specialty hospitals, hours away. We provide financing options and
range of treatment plans to insure that your pet can get the very best care. We

COVID-19 UPDATE

Stonecliff Veterinary Surgical Center is dedicated to keeping your pet healthy.
But in turn by doing this we actually keep you healthy as well. For example our
internal parasite program is a rigorous effort of keeping not only your pet free
of parasites but also keeping you from contracting them from your pet.

We have gone back to in-person appointments again. We ask that you call the
clinic when you arrive and we will come get you and your patient. We require
everyone still wear a mask.
