SH ARCHIVE GOLF ANGST ENTOURAGE - PART 1: DICTIONARY OF THE KHAZARS * Thread starter Archive * Start date Apr 26, 2021 SH.org OP Username in cahoots SH.org OP Date 2019-11-22 04:57:51 SH.org Reaction Score 13 SH.org Reply Count 27 ARCHIVE OLD SH ARCHIVE Joined Sep 8, 2020 Messages 17,737 Reaction score 2,871 * Apr 26, 2021 * * #1 0.0: Golf Angst Entourage. This is the first of a 3-part summary of my research on a blog which I will refer to by the pseudonym Golf Angst Entourage (GAE), for reasons which should become apparent. I thought it appropriate to post about it here, for the reasons that: - it made a strong impression on me; - it is tangentially and directly relevant to SH.org interests; - I found a link to it on a thread here. Reader beware! GAE is a Pandora’s box. Clicking that link led me to a week straight of late nights scouring blogs, chans, an uncomfortable YouTube channel, Discord servers, dream distortions, countless pages of high-level physics and linguistics research, a handful of LARPer deflections, cryptospectrography, and of course, Golf Angst Entourage itself - plus more further weeks of carefully cooking my impressions into something helpful and coherent. I have some conclusions, and some questions remaining. This is a tremendous lead and story, but it can overwhelm, so I offer an even-handed introduction for the group; and if you’re still interested at the end, then I encourage you to pursue further. Based on my experience, and the experience of others, a lot of grief and confusion could be saved by reading my summary before entering this labyrinth. Yes, I do recommend submitting yourself to my bias, but if you prefer a more chaste encounter, the link to another link (for discretion) is within the article. If you want to talk about GAE in reply, I suggest you use the pseudonyms I’ve provided here, and come up with others (truly - I have elected to use screenshots of direct quotations from GAE so they can’t be reverse-traced using a text search). I wonder if they can be kept at bay from poisoning this particular discussion, as they are wont to do. 1.0: Dictionary of the Khazars. 1.1: How I found the Dictionary. As one of many tail-ends of my GAE research, this tangent serves as a good entry-point into GAE for stolen history folks, because that is exactly what the eponymous is about. During my research, I found my way through a thought-dead hyperlink to a defunct GAE research community. This was after a week straight of constant reading and research, and facetiously, I typed a message into the long-silent chat announcing my exhaustion. Within seconds came a reply: “Nothing new to see here, unfortunately”. We started talking. Someone else replied. It turned out these two had had extensive contact with the group I’d been investigating. One of them claims to have been a contributing member for several years (and was eventually burned by them for no good reason), so I put some of my questions and theories to them, and they answered and amended what they could. I suspect the ensuing personal anecdote relates key aspects of anyone’s introduction to GAE. These erstwhile investigators told me that the research community had been slowly infiltrated by members of GAE with various intents: to collaborate; but also to belittle, sabotage, and scatter the efforts of the (genuinely smart and talented) research group. This seems to happen to every community interested in GAE - public engagement is controlled and neutralized if necessary. This was a, but not the only reason research ended here; the other main reason was that there was not anything left to learn that didn’t involve breaking the law. GAE’s digital security and social hacking skills are astonishing and I have come to view at least a few of its members as absolute master-genius educators (I endorse whatever connotations you make with that description). Even the friends I found in the backroom of the dead research community agreed that probably, you’re better off avoiding direct contact with GAE altogether, and certainly, never clicking any link or file they send you, ever. People with big brains running mysterious social experiments under veiled intentions, tend not to view outsiders as their equals (as they like to say in correspondence: “you humans”). This past subterfuge drew suspicion towards me from the 2 researchers as our conversation went on. I’d stumbled into their closed, private group through a hyperlink on a forum from years in the past that should have been expired. And now here I was, a lost tourist alone in a dark alleyway, grilling them on hard-won research. I proved my innocence, but I got a real impression from them that the circumstances of my arrival, in light of GAE’s methods, was a threat to security, even for a dead community. Once we established trust, we talked about our favourite books, resulting in the title of the current article. Before talking to these two, I had sent my own personal email to a prominent member of GAE, which is the most common way of contacting them. It was brief (though knowing how GAE operates, surely revealed much more about my person than I’d like) but in order to keep my story consistent, I posed a question that related to the community where I first encountered mention of GAE (here at SH, in a thread-slide into strange linguistics): Seeing as these people were so hot for dead cultures, I asked if there existed such a thing as a Tartarian language. I never received a reply - well, not through email. So, I am talking about books with the former researchers. One of the researchers (call them J) names a classic occult work which I know well and carry with me always (The Three Initiates’ Kybalion) - although the contagious paranoia of GAE made me wonder if J had simply skimmed my bookmarks somehow, to give me an answer I would relate to. The other (name them R) cited their own favourite book, which was quickly linked to me on ePDF and which I inhaled like a cold beer on a hot day (Ben Mack’s Poker Without Cards: A Consciousness Thriller). Oddly, that book revolved around a historical figure which - and this is truly bizarre - I had quickly regretted not asking about in the email I sent (that historical figure being R. Buckminster Fuller - actually, I have drafted multiple articles discussing that man’s work for SH, but didn’t think it relevant enough to our topic here). It wasn’t the only answer I was given to a pondered-but-unasked question. R also brought up the GAE member who I had emailed - here called Angel (not spooky, as this member was always the main publicity of the group - but also spooky, as R claimed to have been profoundly close with Angel for a long time). R had a story about that one’s favourite book, and described it as, I quote, “a real mind f**k”. But actually, what is spookiest of all, is the topic and title of the book. It’s totally unclear whether this book has anything to do at all with Angel’s favourite literature. All that I can say is that the book was recommended to me by R, and yet answered a recommendation I requested from Angel just an hour before, who R no longer communicates with. After all, it seems almost impossible to speak on the subject of Tartars without also talking about Khazars - not just Khazars - but the Dictionary of the Khazars: A History in 10,000 Words (Male Edition). I couldn’t shake the feeling that my request had been fulfilled. Since nobody asked - my own current favourite book is A. Degen’s Soft X-Ray//Mindhunters - a book about freeing minds without any words at all. 1.2: About the Dictionary. > “Here lies the reader > who will never open this book. > He is here forever dead.” > Click to expand... I will preface by saying I haven’t read Dictionary in its entirety, nor will I ever, nor was I intended to. But as an ambiguous work of historical quasi-fiction(???), it is a stolen history buff’s wet dream. Dictionary is transparent on the character of its publication, which is more than I can say for most books. The original 17th century dictionary (published in Latin, in Prussia), on an indescribably lost and mysterious meta-tribe known ethnically and culturally as Khazars, was not directly sourced, but cobbled together from the secondhand perspectives of scholars Muslim, Christian, and Jewish. Even these sources are biased and questionable, not direct from the Khazars themselves, but at least the book admits this. This edition of Dictionary was almost eradicated during the Inquisition, save for 2 copies which lived on through family inheritance for generations. A resurgence of interest in the Khazar question arises in the late 19th century (that special time!), which eventually results in the current fully-English and alphabetized, reconstructed edition of Dictionary, which is published in 2 co-editions contrasting in only 6 crucial lines of text - the Male and Female editions. Cryptically, the introduction states that even the current publication of the book is constantly being revised and rewritten according to the assignments of its current lexicographer, and the reader of Dictionary is occasionally referred to as “the writer”. As much as possible, Dictionary aspires to present the Khazars as they were viewed at the time that they existed, and not using the since-Dictionary-discovered new knowledge of Khazar history. The actual content of the book is at times intensely nonsequitur, like a Gabriel Garcia Marquez novel, at times more matter-of-fact, but all throughout is enlivened with the poetry of the ancient historians, saturated with bias to keep the story more alive to the reading eye. In some places it is easy to strip embellishment away from truth. In others the two are totally inseparable. Perhaps if more history books were like this, we’d be living in a more honest world. Anyway, the Khazar Empire’s ruler, the kaghan, finds himself at a spiritual impasse - Khazars’ view of their own unique spirituality is self-effacing, and so he believes his people ought to adopt one of the 3 major religions as their own. He attempts to resolve this by inviting a philosophical ambassador of each of Muslim, Christian, and Jewish worlds to interpret his dream, the answers to which would determine the official spiritual obligation of all Khazars thereafter. This summit is called the Khazar polemic. In our current meta-telling, the Khazars adopted Judaism, becoming the now-dominant Ashkenazi segment of that group. That is 1/3 of the truth in Dictionary - in other words, it is true in the 1/3 of it which provides the Jewish perspective on the Khazar question. Perhaps predictably, the Christian and Muslim thirds of Dictionary present completely different, self-aggrandizing conclusions to the Khazar polemic, each stating that the kaghan adopted their own religion, respectively. The plot thickens as the dictionary reveals Jews disguised as Christians, Khazars who exclusively claim to be of the place where they live, and other Khazars who claim to be from anywhere other than where they live. They say history is written by the victor - but how can we tell the victor when nothing’s written down, and there’s no one left to speak the language even if something was? Any SH’er would be laughing his/her ass off by the end of the book’s four-part introduction, because it makes such a strong case for its own inherent unreliability. One can wander its pages the way one clicks through a newfound forum, flitting through a thread here, and now there. Allegedly, truth awaits the dedicated reader who compares descriptions of the same characters and events from 3 different points of view, although “the reader capable of deciphering the hidden meaning of a book from the order of its entries has long since vanished from the face of the earth, for today's reading audience believes that the matter of imagination lies exclusively within the realm of the writer and does not concern them in the least, especially with regard to a dictionary.” Even so, the reader never forgets that Dictionary is penned by an ambiguous number of authors, of ambiguous motivations, in an already-tripartite telling. 1.3: About sudden revivals of interest in dead cultures. Khazars and Jews, I find quite interesting. I can’t seem to help lumping them in with Roma and Tartarians, thematically - these sophisticated ethnic-spiritual-cultural diasporas, influential, yet historically ambiguous, and canonically on the run from persecution. I had the fortune of meeting a Romanian woman earlier this year and quizzing her about the Roma "gypsies". Well, if these Indian-blooded, so-called congenital cutpurses aren’t Khazars, or some excommunicated splinter group of Ashkenazi Jews, I cannot explain the exceptional mistreatment and stereotyping of them as a specific ethnocultural group in any other way. But the connection concerning us here, flows between Khazaria and Tartaria. I believe Tartaria was, at least, a coalition of different ethnocultural groups north and west of China. They either warred with Khazars, or were broken apart by some other force, which caused a schism into Xiongnu, and then Khazar identity, who it is told, later swept through the Eurasian continent in bands, continuing to splinter and settle into the Turkic near-east. They conquered, and were conquered, and in-fought, and splintered, and integrated with cultures throughout various empires of this time. I must wonder if the book was offered to me as a kind of winking acknowledgment of Tartaria, as if to reply, “Good question - you’re just asking the wrong one.” Regardless, I believe that any investigation into Khazars will inform us on Tartarians, and any query on Tartarians will tell us something of Khazars, too. Unamusingly, the parts of the world ripest with answers to these questions have been embroiled in war and cultural genocide for the past 30 years... or many more. There’s a quirk with Dictionary which reminds me muchly of certain mysteries as to what we study here, and even how I found GAE in the first place. Even centuries after they are forgotten, Dictionary claims that interest in Khazars sees sudden resurgences. So sudden and comprehensive are these resurgences that they result in entirely new books in spite of not much more new knowledge of substance being available since the last book was published. I daresay such resurgences are manufactured, though I cannot claim what their purpose might be, or who would benefit from such. I can say the same thing about GAE. It is impossible to know how far back GAE actually goes, though the publicly accessible blog and YouTube page have been around for a decade now. The website is findable, with over 90,000 unique words linking directly and exclusively to it, and yet it’s intractable, written mostly in incomprehensible franken-language (Vampiric language? We’ll get to that). Theories abound as to what GAE “wants” from people, but it is enough to know they are interested in whoever is interested in them. At specific times, the group makes lateral publicity pushes by seeding interest in their site, either by contacting one of the independent research groups, or setting up through-points in specific communities, like this one. As I suspect with the Khazars, periods of resurgence in interest and participation are contrived and managed by GAE itself. Fortunately, the link to GAE from this site is indirect, obscuring sources of traffic. But in most cases, one cannot really speak of GAE or link to them, without advancing its intentions of being just-barely-sorta-known-about. This may be superstitious of me, but I think GAE as a kind of SCP entity called a cognitohazard - it exists and replicates by being known about. Once it touches your mind, it takes on a life of its own, and the influence on thought and behaviour is unmistakable. For those who are “awake” to it, GAE is influence incarnate. This expands its significance on one level, and shrivels it on another. So much for the resurgences of Khazars and of GAE itself. Tartaria is just as much the head-scratcher as Khazaria. A forgotten empire, flag, language, not spoken of for decades or centuries - and then - slowly, then suddenly, Tartaria is a thinkable topic again. One can find threads from 4 or 5 years ago which are more bamboozled by the resurgence of Tartaria as a subject of interest, than by Tartaria itself. People ask questions like, “If I have never heard of Tartaria before, why am I now suddenly seeing it mentioned everywhere on conspiracy theory forums?” What is Tartaria, really? And why the sudden resurgence? I have concluded that, with some investigation, one would find that all links and discussions about GAE - all “first causes” towards it - are created by GAE itself. I recommend based on what I learned from GAE and from Dictionary, to look into those first sources from which research springs and differentiates, like a winding tree, in order to gain perspective on their significance. edit: clarified an internal reference > Note: This OP was recovered from the Sh.org archive. > Click to expand... > Note: Archived Sh.org replies to this OP are included in this thread. > Click to expand... The history of the Khazars is quite simple. A pagan people who converted to Talmudist Judaism in the eighth century so that they would not have to submit to either Christians or Muslims. They became "Jews" and invaded Palestine in 1948. They created Zionism for this purpose. Anyone who has read the book Einchman in Jerusalem about this Nazi trial knows that the Zionist "Jews" were allies of the Nazis and had groups that hunted and delivered non-Zionist Jews not hands of the SS. About the whole story of the topic I will not say anything, it seems very obscure at the moment. Dictionary says one was written in poisoned ink. Thank heaven for digitization. Borg is a nice comparison. Direne once said that the most dangerous weapon in the Trek universe wasn't the teleporters or the phaser guns, but the universal translator device. It opens up communication in the literal sense, but requires no actual learning about the culture and species being communicated with. A half-hearted attempt at understanding is just another vector of conflict most of the time. Just what a Borg would say, huh? Nothing about this group can be condensed to a paragraph. You've done an excellent job with 4 threads and barely scratched the surface. I don't know how to describe it, I got the impression sometimes that it's about your reaction to the material more than the material itself. I went through a lot of theories, from mundane to insane, and I don't know what those folks are up to, but it is impressive, exciting and very scary. It seemed to me, the CD aspect of it was the main focus, and the goal was to create, or find, or reengineer, or fix, a universal translation device. It's been quite a while. I'm sure at the time, i figured that by now someone would have figured all of it out, and i could just go read about it. ETA. I seem to remember they had a long running countdown clock at some point. Has to have expired by now. Did you gain any insight into that during your research? The countdown ended today (4/8/15) at 16:23:42 (European date and time notation). These numbers perfectly match the mysterious numbers that frequently appeared on the TV show Lost: 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 .... But I have never seen the TV show (don't have a TV) and as yet I have not looked at that path. You have to have patience and make it to the END. Which is excellent, but leaves Hollywood junkies feeling cheated. 23 shows up all the time for me. 42 almost as much. They all add up to 108, which has significance and symbolism in several major religions. Or if you're Bjork on her way to the electric chair... In Cahoots? Meaning alternately companions, confederates, partners and/or conspirators, in cahoots is a phrase used to describe a situation where people are working together, often on an illegal, immoral, secret and/or unethical scheme. As for the word “cahoot” itself, it is defined as a “partnership, league.” > in cahoots said: > I found a link to it on a thread here. > Click to expand... It seemed cheekily appropriate to use on an independent research forums about such kinds of associations as well. I think the purple vertical line is a neat image, too. > Red Bird said: > Will you tell us the link- where it is here? > Click to expand... I believe the link to the thread is in the OP.
