The BCBS 2023 Law, Audit, Compliance & Ethics Conference will bring these key
groups together in a collaborative setting. The event will include an array of
content focused on a selection of CLE programs, CPE sessions relating to audit,
compliance & ethics topics and experiential networking opportunities. Attendees
have the opportunity to earn up to 12 continuing education (CE) credits.

Who Should Attend?

Blue Plan and Non-Blue Plan lawyers and personnel who work on policy, audit, and
compliance.



What Should I Wear?

Attire for the program is business casual. Bring a sweater or light jacket as
the temperature in the meeting rooms can vary.

CONTINUING EDUCATION ACCREDITATION



BCBSA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy
(NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National
Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on
the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding
registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors
through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

Program Level: Intermediate
Delivery Method: Group-Live
Field of Study: Audit, Compliance & Ethics 

Attendees are eligible to earn up to 15.5 CPE credits. There are no
prerequisites for this program. No advance preparation is required. Sponsored
learning activities are measured by program length, with one 50-minute period
equal to one CPE credit. One-half CPE credit increments (equal to 25 minutes)
are permitted after the first credit has been earned in a learning activity. 
 Please note that not all state boards have adopted this rule. Some participants
may not be able to use one-half credit increments.

BCBSA is an accredited sponsor with many of the state regulatory bodies for
mandatory continuing legal education in the U.S. We ask that international
attendees contact the CLE Coordinator directly with inquiries. State regulatory
bodies have final authority on the approval of course applications submitted by
the Blue Cross Blue Shield Plan Legal Department Cooperative.

Field of Study: Law/Legal 

Attendees can expect to earn a portion of their required MCLE credit for their
participation in this comprehensive three-day program. The Blue Plan Legal
Department Cooperative’s CLE Coordinator will apply for legal credit for this
conference in all states with mandatory CLE requirements. If you have questions
about MCLEs, you can contact Yara Maietta or Adam Peltzman.

Following the end of the conference, we will provide each interested registrant
Lawyer from the (LAW) track (licensed in a state(s) with mandatory CLE
requirements) with a record of the filing made on your behalf to your state(s)’s
MCLE* accrediting/ compliance authority. Certificates of credit are emailed
based on state approvals, usually within eight-twelve weeks of the event. 

*MCLE credits are ONLY applicable to any sessions of the Lawyers (LAW) track.
