ETT TRYKK 10ÅR!

Hipp hipp hurra for Ett Trykk som fyller 10år!
Det er en voksen alder for et blad å bli i vår tid, datatiden,
men Ett Trykk klarer seg. Det er noe med å kunne sette seg ned hvor
og når man vil med et fysisk blad i hånden,
som er så deilig og befriende uten ledninger og internett forbindelse.
Med dyktige folk i redaksjonen som står bak,
en flott design team og mange uber-kreative folk
som bidrar til hvert nummer så er det ikke rart at bladet fyller runde tall!
Skål for minst 10år til!
Det er utrolig gøy å bli bet om å delta i feiringen!
Jeg ble bet om å la meg inspirere av en av de hundrevis av artikler
som har vært publisert i bladet over de siste 10år.
Det er mange flotte som har blitt skrevet og satt sammen,
så det var neimen ikke lett å velge gitt!
Men jeg falt ganske fort for en artikkel som ble publisert
‘way back’ i 2006, blad nr 4.

,I Lite format, om minialbum og små bøker’, skrevet av Bente Bjerknes.
Det finnes mange forskjellig måter å lage minialbum på,
artikkelen inspirerte med 7 forskjellige.
Som det nevnes i artikkelen så er det
‘viktig å ha en plan for arbeidet og gjøre en del valg før du starter å lage
selve albumet’
Jeg vil utfordre dere til å lage et kjapt minialbum!
Det kan være et album med eller uten bilder,
enkelt eller forseggjort.
Det kan være bundet eller brettet sammen.
Kanskje du har en del sitater liggende
rundt omkring på lapper som kan skrives opp
og samles i et minialbum?
Kanskje du vil lage et liten album til
en du er glad i for Valentines dag?
Mulighetene er grenseløse.

’Finn ditt tema’ Jeg bestemte meg for å lage albumet til en god venninne,
med bilder av henne og hennes to små jenter.
Det er ikke ofte jeg lager rosa ting selv med bare gutter i huset.
Derfor bestemte jeg meg for å lage albumet ROSA!
Med en rosa (les rød) tråd av de samme arkene,
washi tape som dukker opp på hver side, tags, fargen ’frisk rosa’
og svarthvit bilder.
Jeg ville bruke min Bind-it-all for å binde sidene sammen.
Med planen på plass for albumet, så kunne jeg begynne.

Først ville jeg lage sidene selv. Jeg liker å kline med maling så jeg begynte
med et stort akvarell ark, 3 forskjellige rosa akryl farger og hvit maling. Jeg
klasjet og blandet malingen rundt på arket, prøvd å holde malings strøk i samme
retning, og lot det tørke litt innimellom for å male mere oppå.

Jeg ville ikke sause inn arket med maling. jeg liker at det hvite arket skinner
litt gjennom, jeg synes at det hjelper å holde sidene litt ’lette’.
Jeg brukte en linjal til å dele arket opp i sider, jeg målt opp sidene på den
store akvarell arket og rev arkene langs den for å få en røff kant.

Etter å ha limt på washi taipen med decopagelim både over og under teipen,
lagde jeg noen splatter på arket med Adirondack mixatives.

Det fine med Adirondack mixatives er at den tørker blankt og fint som en slags
lakk (men den tar lang tid å tørke, så her må man bare være tålmodig!).

Her har jeg også brukt Adirondack mixatives, jeg smurte den på en Tim Holtz
wordband med litt kjøkken papir, lot den nesten tørke så pusset jeg den ned med
sandpapir.

Så Begynte jeg med litt pynting, jeg tok det som skule være størst av pynten
nederst, nemlig en stor fin rubons fra Fancy Pants.

Jeg festet den metall word band’en med litt tykk tråd, i en herlig gul farge.

For å kunne få layouten riktig er det lurt å lage hullene i sidene ganske
tidlig,

slik at den delen av siden blir holdt fritt.

Jeg ville gjøre sidene litt spennende, og når jeg fant denne vanlig gule
sytråd,
bestemte jeg meg for å sy rundt kantene av arkene.
Her er det lurt å prøve seg fram på et avkapp
fra det samme ark som du skal til slutt sy på.

Når du er ferdig å sy rundt kantene så er det lurt å dra litt
i undertråden fra baksiden slik at den gule tråden kommer ut på baksiden,
så knyter du sammen trådene. Da sitter sømmen godt og går ikke opp.
Jeg har valgt å la trådene være litt lange slik at de henger ut,
jeg liker de sånn men etter at man har knytet trådene er det mulighet
for å klippe de helt korte om man vil det.
Jeg synes mønsteret på baksiden av sømmen er pent også,
derfor har jeg valgt at det skal synes, ellers kan man bare dekke over det.

Så kan man begynne å tenke på bilde størrelse osv.
jeg ville lage bildene firkantet alle sammen,
i str. 4x4 inch og 3x3 inch.
Jeg samlet bildene mine på ipaden min og redigert dem
i et bilderedigerings program.
Så overførte jeg dem til laptoppen min for å printe derfra
(det kan godt hen at det finnes en annen enklere måte å gjøre det på,
men jeg gjør det på den måten).

Så er det tid for å fokusere litt på layouten,
jeg ville ha litt mønster ark og tags inni mellom.

Til å begynne med brukte jeg bare washi tape for å holde alt på plass,
det er da mulig å flytte på og gjøre forrandringer
før man har funnet hvordan man vil ha det.

Etter at jeg hadde bestemt meg limte jeg alt ned,
noe med lim og noe med dobbelsidet teip
(jeg tok litt lim på baksiden av washi tapen også).
Så kunne jeg begynne å stemple, påføre rubons og pynte.

Jeg skrev en liten hilsen som skal være i fronten av albumet,
ellers har jeg satt inn journaling felter som
det er mening at min venninne kan selv skrive på.

Så kunne jeg bruke bind-it-all til å klemme på wirene
langs ryggen på albumet.
Jeg har brukt 0.5inch antique Silver wires.

Jeg ville bruke tags også som sider for
å gjøre albumet litt mer spennende,
i og med at de er en annen størrelse en de andre sidene.

Her er det ferdige albumet fra siden,
her ser du godt at sidene er forskjellige størrelse,
noe som gjør at det blir et spennende liten album,
synes jeg ;O)

Jeg valgte å bruke en overlays ark klipt ned till
riktig størrelse som en slags beskyttende forside og bakside.
Den lille tag’en har jeg stiftet rett på undersiden av overlay arket.

Og til slutt her ser du baksiden av albumet,
min personlig stemple har jeg trykt på et papir lapp
og limt ned på utsiden av overlay arket med dobbelsided tape.

Det var et morsomt prosjekt å holde på med og jeg er fornøyd med resultatet.
