A TRULY BEAUTIFUL ISLAND The magnificent views from the hotel are punctuated with the scents of nature and the calls of wild birds or the buzz of the bees, busy collecting nectar from the abundance of colourful wild flowers. The small island of Sark lies a few miles from Guernsey and can be reached by boats that make the journey several times a day. The island is approximately 3.5 miles long by 1.5 miles across and offers a wide variety of scenery. Magnificent views reflect the ever-changing mood of sun, sea and sky in clear unpolluted air. This short video clip, courtesy of the tourist board allows you to share some of the magic. Walking around the island reveals the true beauty of the surroundings. There is a wonderful variety of scenery in a small area. It's easy to cover the whole island on foot or use a bike. Magnificent views and totally unpolluted air make the outdoor experience even more enjoyable. Little Sark is the southern most part of the island with many beauty spots such as Grand Grève, one of Sark's best sandy beaches, and the famous pools of Venus and Adonis are are within easy walking distance from La Sablonnerie.
