A Small Sark Hotel with an Enviable Reputation
La Sablonnerie is an hotel of rare quality situated in a time warp of simplicity
on the tiny, idyllic Channel Island of Sark, where no motor cars are allowed and

A TRULY BEAUTIFUL ISLAND

The magnificent views from the hotel are punctuated with the scents of nature
and the calls of wild birds or the buzz of the bees, busy collecting nectar from
the abundance of colourful wild flowers.

The small island of Sark lies a few miles from Guernsey and can be reached by
boats that make the journey several times a day. The island is approximately 3.5
miles long by 1.5 miles across and offers a wide variety of scenery. Magnificent
views reflect the ever-changing mood of sun, sea and sky in clear unpolluted
air.

Sark is such a beautiful island, it is difficult to explain its natural rugged
beauty to people without showing them exactly what we mean. This short video
clip, courtesy of the tourist board allows you to share some of the magic.

Walking around the island reveals the true beauty of the surroundings. There is
a wonderful variety of scenery in a small area. It's easy to cover the whole
island on foot or use a bike. Magnificent views and totally unpolluted air make
the outdoor experience even more enjoyable. Little Sark is the southern most
part of the island with many beauty spots such as Grand Grève, one of Sark's
best sandy beaches, and the famous pools of Venus and Adonis are are within easy
walking distance from La Sablonnerie. Sark is about the simple life and enjoying
nature. La Sablonnerie makes sure you have the perfect place to stay to enjoy
the pleasures of the island.

Sark has been the location for the BBC documentary, An Island Parish, and
features many of the famous locations and views from the island.
