SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS

Since everyone's life is so busy, we offer many ways for your pet to be seen,
including the area's only "urgent care" clinic. 




EMERGENCY CARE

If your pet is experiencing an emergency, please call us RIGHT AWAY at
509-327-9354 and press "option 1." (Be advised, non-emergencies will be
transferred back to the main phone line.)  If it is a true emergency, please do
not wait until 10AM.  We set aside time every day for emergencies. 
Receptionists will work with you and our doctors to triage your pet and let you
know when we can work you in or refer to a local emergency clinic if we are
unable to give your pet the care they need.   





URGENT AND WELLNESS CARE


Appointments can be reserved Monday - Friday starting at 10 AM for a same
afternoon visit between 2-5 PM!




Two ways to register:

1. Online through our website – click the “Book Now” button and it will walk you
through the registration process




2. Call us at 509-327-9354 after 10AM on the day you want to reserve your
appointment slot




NEW CLIENTS: Please show up at least 15 minutes before your scheduled
reservation to ensure paperwork is complete before your appointment.




While there may be a short wait before your appointment, rest assured we take
the necessary time with each owner and their pet to ensure compassionate,
comprehensive care is offered.




WALK-IN CLINIC

Walk-in appointments are available on Saturdays from 9AM until noon. We accept
the first thirty clients to show up.  To keep things fair for everyone that is
present, you are required to stay in our parking lot to maintain your place in
line.  Emergencies are assessed by our experienced veterinary technicians or
doctors and will be moved to the front of the line if the pet's condition
requires it. 





PRESCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS

We offer pre-scheduled appointments in the mornings Monday through Friday. 
These can be scheduled by calling us at 509-327-9354 and speaking with one of
our receptionists to find our next available opening.




DROP-OFF APPOINTMENTS

Still having trouble getting in to be seen? For some situations and  schedules,
the best way for your pet to receive care is to leave your pet with us for a few
hours or a whole day.  Frequently used for sick pets and follow-up care, this
can also be a good option for those having trouble getting in for routine
wellness care. 




SURGICAL AND DENTAL CARE

Surgeries and dental care are pre-scheduled in the mornings, Monday through
Friday.  Pets typically need to be dropped off between 7:30AM and 8AM and are
generally ready to go home between 3PM and before closing at 6PM. 




WILDLIFE - RAPTORS ONLY

EXCITING UPDATE!

We are now licensed by the state and federal government to rehabilitate raptors!

We are able to accept eagles (including both golden and bald eagles), hawks,
falcons, osprey, owls, and vultures that are found injured inside Washington
State (state and federal laws prohibit transport of wildlife across state lines,
even if injured). 




When should you contact us?

**Please call us before trying to handle injured wildlife**

 1. The bird is obviously injured (the raptor's eyes are closed and/or is
    unresponsive to your approach, blood is seen on a body part other than the
    beak, the raptor is laying on the ground instead of standing, it's caught in
    a net or trap, or if one wing is displaced / drooping).
 2. The parents of a baby have been confirmed to be killed (parents will not be
    next to the nest at all times, so do not assume because you don't see the
    parents right now that they aren't still around).
 3. A young raptor (these are covered only in white, downy feathers) is found on
    the ground.




Due to space limitations and to ensure we offer the highest level of care while
minimizing stress, we are not able to rehabilitate other species of bird,
reptiles, or mammals.  If the animal is severely injured and requires euthanasia
you may call us.  Otherwise, please reach out to the WSU Veterinary Teaching
Hospital in Pullman or contact the WDFW Spokane office at 509-892-1001 or the
WDFW enforcement dispatch line at 360-902-2936 (option 1).
