   Decisions, decisions

Choosing a college (education) is a really big decision. There's so much to
think about: size, location, campus community, professors, career services,
majors, clubs. The good news is that the most important qualities of a
Brandeis education never change: academic rigor, a welcoming, diverse
community, innovation in teaching and learning.

“Peace is not merely the absence of tension. It is the presence of justice.”

Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. first spoke on campus April 3, 1957, as part of the
Helmsley Lectures, a six-part lecture series addressing race relations. His
poignant talks engaged Brandeis community members, who still celebrate his
legacy today.

3 more days until most of our incoming new students are greeted by our amazing
orientation leaders (OLs) & community advisors (CAs), who have been training all
week to get ready to welcome you all to campus. But international students get a
sneak peek because we’re welcoming you to campus TODAY!

Orientation at #Brandeis is created by students for students.
@brandeisorientation is coordinated by a small group of student leaders who work
closely with staff to create, plan and implement Orientation for the incoming
class. A larger group of Orientation Leaders (OLs) serve as guides & mentors
throughout a new student’s first days on campus and beyond.⁣

Check out our IG story for more information on what orientation is and what
events to look forward to! All schedules and events for orientation can be found
in the Guidebook app.
