We are Deutsch Photography, long-time NYC headshot photographers. We’ve been
taking actor headshots, corporate headshots, and modeling headshots for more
than 15 years, traversing all 5 boroughs to help our clients capture the right
atmosphere in their photos.

We’ve worked with famous faces, Fortune 500 companies, up-and-comers,
entrepreneurs, children, and more. With every client, we focus on taking a
headshot that tells their story and conveys their brand, with NYC as their
backdrop. Whether you need corporate headshots for your company’s website, a

Where are headshots taken? Expand

Our photography studio is in Chelsea at 245 West 29th St., Studio 1200D, New
York City, NY 10001.

We also take photos all over NYC. Popular locations include Central Park, Grand
Central, midtown rooftops, street-style shots in Meatpacking, Soho, and
Brooklyn, and water shots that capture the bridges.

We also take photos on location at our clients’ places of business. We’ll travel
to all 5 boroughs, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Who needs headshots? Expand

Because so many first impressions happen online these days, we recommend that
anyone pursuing a professional career – whether it’s corporate, as a performer,
or as a model – have a professional headshot. A headshot is one of the easiest –
yet most critical – ways to broadcast to the world what kind of a person you
are. If you take yourself seriously enough to invest in a professional headshot,
others will be more apt to take you seriously.

What type of headshot should I get? Expand

The type of headshot you should get is dependent on your objectives and
personality. After we’ve discussed your goals, we can provide advice on what
type of headshot(s) you should get.

Do you print the headshots? Expand

We do not print headshots. We provide you with the digital proofs that you will
take to get printed. We recommend getting your headshots printed through XXXXX.

What should I wear for my headshot? Expand

Again, this is highly dependent on your goals with the headshot, but before our
session we’ll consult with you on what those goals are then direct you on what
to wear and how to style yourself.

Is a professional headshot worth it? Expand

A professional headshot can be used in many ways. If you’re a business
professional, a corporate headshot can be used on LinkedIn, on a website, on
business cards and pitch decks. If you’re an actor, a professional headshot is
key to booking auditions. If you’re a model, your comp card is necessary for
making it in the industry.
