This is unacceptable and never should have happened. As for your room being left
open and unattended; we will make sure that this information is passed on to our
housekeeping department so the issue can be resolved and won't reoccur. Our
restaurant and kitchen in under new management than , but we will also pass your
comments on about the service you received there to avoid any similar situation
in the future. We are happy that you were pleased with the wifi signal and
comfort level of our rooms. This past spring we completely renovated the entire
hotel, so the rooms are much nicer and new!

We hope that you will be able to stop by or stay with us again so that we can
make a better impression. Amazing Location with beautiful Abraham lake on the
back yard. Also you can get a cell phone signal down the lake.

We tried to find the hotel at Jasper or Lake Louise, nothing we can found it and
the price so expensive for some of reason. Finally we found David Thompson
Resort and stay for one night. Two queen sized bed look was new one and were
comfortable. Only issue no cell phone and WiFi was not good.

convenience store which also sells liquor , gas and souvenir store.


THOMPSON / GRAND RIVER VALLEY KOA

We did not visit the Camp Ground and were told that the cabins were "rustic",
without running water or electricity so elected to stay in the motel. The rooms
are very old construction and badly in need of renovation. Everything was in
good repair. The place was smelly though the smell cleared out or we got used to
it after a few minutes. The washroom was clean but dated.

Towels were heavily laundered and old but not threadbare. The room has two queen
sized beds which were comfortable. The sheets were superficially clean but
didn't look as if they had been changed recently. Room was also equipped with a
TV and a Fridge. WiFi worked well despite that the resort is in a dead-zone for
cell signal. This was an unexpected blessing. The whole place is very
overpriced.
