REBUILDING LIVES FOR DISPLACED PERSONS THROUGH AGRICULTURAL AID

The Democratic Republic of the Congo faced a particularly challenging 2024, with
multiple crises worsening food insecurity. In November, FAO Deputy
Director-General Beth Bechdol visited Rusayo 2, the largest internally displaced
people's camp in the DRC. In this on-the-ground episode, she highlights FAO's
efforts to support farmers and displaced communities by providing agricultural
assistance.
