MY OTHER PASSION.




Time Off! We all need away to clear the brain from time to time.

Some years ago I took part in an ocean race and after three weeks at sea I would
have happily returned to sail back.

Vintage called however and it was time to work with the on shore elements. No
matter where though, it is the connection with the soil, the sea, the weather
and with time that shapes life.

I am fortunate enough to be able to experience the sea during my stays in
Europe, a privilege I do not take for granted.


VINES & WINES


Settler vineyards are situated on the terraces above the Okawa Stream, 25 kms
west of Hastings.

Some years ago I spent some time at a well known French cooperage. They
generously spend time with me to induce me into the world of coopering.



SOCMA WINEMAKING EQUIPMENT – INNOVATION AT ITS BEST.


We are the sole importers of Socma equipment. This innovative winery equipment
is developed and build in the south of France.
