I just played a half hour and only defeated the first boss, but I feel like I agree. Pretty neat art style. Combat is fun for an RPG alternative, not on the level of a true action game. Don't know the story. That's my impression from the demo. Held out for a bit until it came out on game pass. It's no Dark Souls, but definitely one of the better Soulslike games out there. Scarlet Nexus reminds me alot of Code Vein in terms of the seemingly simplistic level design. I will give this a shot on PC once I can pull myself away from New World. That's kind of the whole point of the service.. I've played like 6 games in the past couple of months that I would've never played if I had to buy them on steam or whatever.
