WELCOME

I am extremely proud to be the seventh Head of Wymondham College; a truly
unique, World Class state school for day and boarding students aged 11-18. With

of the few UK state schools to hold the ‘World Class’ accolade and be an
associate member of the HMC. In November 2021 we were named as ‘Secondary School
of the Year’ in the Pearson National Teaching Awards for making a difference for
our students. We are amongst the highest performing schools in the country and
our students’ academic success is underpinned by a strong belief in providing
opportunities outside of the classroom aimed at opening young minds; we call
this ‘Wymondham Life’ (extra-curricular). Our ‘Floreat Programme’ and Wymondham
College Diploma focus on character and leadership development which is supported
by a range of internationally distinguished speakers. Developing others to be
proud, passionate and positive is the most exciting and rewarding aspect of my
job; seeing students enjoying learning, excelling on the sports field or
immersing themselves in extra-curricular pursuits gives me a huge sense of
pride. We are committed to giving our very best at all times, celebrate
diversity, we embrace change and welcome challenge. Tradition and high standards
are an intrinsic part of the College but we are a forward looking organisation,
often at the cutting edge of educational development. I am driven by always
doing what is right for the young people in my care and would be delighted to

Wymondham College is a place of opportunity. I have thoroughly enjoyed the
Wymondham Life activities such as sports, cooking and extra-curricular art-based
clubs. These have made my boarding experience much more pleasurable and fun
