TARA BHATTACHARYA WINS EARCOS GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP AWARD

Year 13 student Tara Bhattacharya received the award for her CAS project on
Trans Rights and Youth Advocacy, making 2022 the third year in a row that a TBS
student has been granted this award.

TBS PARTNERS WITH UCL TO LAUNCH SUMMER SCHOOL

TBS has partnered with University College London (UCL) to launch their inaugural
UCL India Summer School. The programme will take place at TBS in June 2024 and
will give students a taste of what it’s like to study at a world-leading UK
university. The Summer School will be open to pre-university students across
India.

UDIT SINGHAL, CLASS OF 2020, MAKES IT TO FORBES 30 UNDER 30

Udit Singhal became the youngest member of the Forbes India 30 under 30 list in
2023 for pioneering an innovative and environmentally friendly technology that
converts used glass bottles into sand through his solution called Glass2Sand.

ATIVEER JAIN PLAYS FOR PORTUGUESE FOOTBALL CLUB UD VILAFRANQUENSE

Ativeer Jain, class of 2022, has become the first Indian to sign a contract with
the Portuguese first division football club, UD Vilafranquense. He played in the
U-19 team for the 2022-23 season.

IBDP RESULTS 2022

Our students achieved an excellent set of results notwithstanding disruptions to
learning during the pandemic. 3 students scored a perfect 45 and 39% earned a
score of over 40 points. Average score went up to 38 against a world average of
32.

ANAHAT SINGH WINS A BRONZE MEDAL IN SQUASH AT ASIAN GAMES

Ranked No 1 in India, Asia and Europe, Anahat Singh from Year 11 represented
India at the Asian Games 2022 and won a Bronze medal in Squash. She has
previously represented the country at the Commonwealth Games in the UK.
