PRICES

There are two ways to ride with us, you can either buy bundles of minutes
up-front, or pay as you ride.

PAY AS YOU RIDE

Best for those who cycle occasionally.

Pedal bikes
You pay a £1 fee for unlocking the bike, then 5p per minute of cycling.

Example: Unlock the bike and ride for 15 minutes. You pay: £1 + (5p x 15
minutes) = £1 + 75p = £1.75

eBikes

You pay £1.50 fee for unlocking the eBike, then 10p per minute of cycling.

Example: You unlock the eBike and ride for 15 minutes. You pay: £1.50 + (10p x
15 minutes) = £1.50 + £1.50 = £3

MINUTE BUNDLES

Best for regular users of the scheme.

Buy a 100, 300 or 600 minute bundle upfront and we’ll deduct minutes from your
balance depending on how long you ride for. Our minute bundles can be used
interchangeably between the pedal and eBikes, and minutes cost 5p per minute.

Pedal bikes

There is no fee for unlocking the bike with a bundle.

Example: You unlock the bike and ride for 15 minutes. You pay: 5p x 15 minutes =
75p

eBikes

You pay £1.50 fee for unlocking the eBike, but the cost of a minute is 5p
instead of 10p.

Example: You unlock the eBike and ride for 15 minutes. You pay: £1.50 + (5p x 15
minutes) = £1.50 + 75p = £2.25

COMPARE THE PLANS

100, 300 or 600 minute bundles are available to buy via ‘My wallet’ on the app.

Minute bundle Pay as you ride Pedal 15 minutes = 75p 15 minutes = £1.75 eBike 15
minutes = £2.25 15 minutes = £3 Pedal 30 minutes = £1.50 30 minutes = £2.50
eBike 30 minutes = £3 30 minutes = £4.50 Pedal 1 hour = £3 1 hour = £4 eBike 1
hour = £4.50 1 hour = £7.50

Pay for your ride by linking a credit/debit card or your Swift account to the
Beryl cycle hire app.
