StaticTale Wiki This Wiki has been created to allow you all to get familiar with

About StaticTale StaticTale's story takes place within a realm of time and space
known as the ManicVerse, more specifically, The Far Lands. The Far Lands being a
unique place of interest to say the least, as it's been around for quite some
time, yet still remains unknown to most. StaticTale itself at one point wasn't
that different from that of Undertale, monsters and humans coexisting on the
surface. Overtime, things began to not look so well for the monsters, that being
until they were struck with a great famine, along with that of an economical
crisis. Once on the verge of extinction, monsters were given a new hope, and
that hope was gifted to them through that of an unknown man. This man went by
the name of Ajax, and while most monsters were unfamiliar, and possibly
skeptical of how he simply just appeared one day, he offered to help them, and
it's not like they had much choice anyways. Ajax, Asgore, and Toriel had begun
their very own project known as "Project Restoration" this being the idea that
they had to save all of monster kind. After the success of Project Restoration,
the monsters were finally free of all their previous troubles, all seemed well,
though nothing lasts forever. As time went on however, things slowly began to go
downhill for the monsters, all of this starting when Ajax met Emily. Time went
on and War eventually broke out between the two races, the monsters would end up
losing the war and would be sealed underground. Here the monsters had rebuilt
their civilization, Ajax and Emily even having 'created' their own children
after their first attempt at having a child resulting in it dying, this of
course negatively impacting Emily, her actions would ultimately lead to some of
the most disastrous events in the history of the Far Lands, even the Manicverse
itself potentially. Asgore had eventually come to Ajax, mentioning that they
would need a sustainable source of energy if they were to survive, this bringing
up the idea of The Core. While obviously they had one when on the surface, this
one would have to solely be powered by magic, bringing up several new
complications. Construction on the Vicissitude did eventually start, and upon
being finished, it wasn't able to be properly tested before Asgore enforced that
it be put into effect immediately. Due to this, Ajax would have to manually run
tests on the Vicissitude while it was running, this of course being a dangerous
task. During one of the many tests, one of the Primary chambers within the
Vicissitude had combusted into a fury of flames. Within moments, the entirety of
Hotland, along with the entire Underground had been sent into a surge of chaos,
this being until the Vicissitude itself exploded, killing most of, if not, all
monster life and due to the high concentrations of magic within it, attracted
some unwanted attention from beyond their world. Within just a few days,
StaticTale was nothing more than a wasteland, those who had survived had either
gone into hiding, or were able to escape elsewhere. Most of the surviving
inhabitants wander the Far Lands and the Manicverse itself, staying amongst the
shadows.
