FUN IDEA AT THE RIGHT PRICE
I'm not going to bury the lead here. I love this product, but I do have a
couple complaints that keep it from being a perfect 5 out of 5.
What do you get?
This 60 card deck includes the standard 52 ( four traditional suits with
cards Ace - King in each suit) as well as 8 wild cards. There are three
types of wilds: suit specific, color specific, and wilds that can be any
suit or rank.
How is it packaged?
There is no plastic shrink wrap here. As with most of their UNO products,
the deck box is "sealed" with a small circle of tape. It is not very sticky,
so the box is not damaged when opening it for the first time. The deck has a
small paper ring that keeps the cards together within the deck. It's nice to
see Mattel being plastic conscious.
Card Quality
The cards are paper with a linen finish. I actually like these cards better
than their standard UNO deck. The lined finish gives the cards a nice feel
and they have a pleasant snap-back when shuffling. A very surprising quality
for only three dollars or so.
Design
The only thing keeping me from giving this a perfect 5 star rating is the
card design. They did a very nice job on the court cards. I enjoy their
incorporation of the one eyed cards as well as the suicide king. They did
very well with this. However, the Aces are quite lackluster. I like the UNO
card format, but I wish the Aces had more design. It would have been nice to
have a filigree pattern in the Ace of Spades at the very least. The wilds
are fairly plain as well. The card back is a fun design though.
Overall, I think the Wild Twists deck is a very fun idea, and I would like
Mattel to continue using the UNO brand as much as possible.

NO RULES FOR GO FISH
Bought this soon as I found it. Back of box says special rules for Go Fish,
but I'm here on the website and no instructions on how to incorporate the
wild cards. Disappointed

CARDS WITH A FUN TWIST!
This is an awesome deck of cards that was a great addition to our family
game nights! It comes with the standard 52 playing cards and it also
includes 8 special wild cards and a guide explaining what each one can be
used for. This means that you can play all the traditional card
games-regularly or with a twist-plus some super fun extra games. There is
also a guide for a fun game to play with the wild cards. There are
definitely endless possibilities with this one deck!
