Tracy Aviary provides three unique opportunities to support our mission of
inspiring curiosity and caring for birds and nature through education and
conservation. Our Liberty Park campus showcases birds from around the world in
curated botanical gardens. Our Nature Center is a natural local wildlife oasis
along Pia Okwai (Jordan River) in Salt Lake City. And Tracy Aviary Conservation
invites you to protect birds and their habitats through community science.


NATURE NOTE OF THE DAY

NORTHERN HELMETED CURASSOW

Found in mountainous regions and humid gorges with dense undergrowth; it is
mainly confined to subtropical forests.The use of its “helmet”, or casque, in
traditional jewelry contributes to its endangered status.
