Shift Manager, Amesbury Warehouse

My HB journey started in 2015 as an Admin Clerk working in the Goods In
department in the Amesbury warehouse. With the help and support I received from
the team and the values and skills I learned, I applied myself and was
successful for a position as a junior member of the warehouse management team.
Since then I have progressed through the management structure and am now a
Warehouse Shift Manager. I believe I have found my passion, my calling and I’m
excited to see what the future holds!

I have worked for Home Bargains for the past 14 months. I started in the Newbury
store where the team and I were able to achieve both the Store of the Year award
and the Most Efficient Store of the Year award on our Area. I then went on to
the Waterlooville store and there we delivered consistent positive year-on-year
sales growth and record-breaking store sales weeks. Now I am onto my new
exciting challenge, having opened a brand-new store in Alton. I love that within
my role I can assist in my team’s continuous growth so they can achieve their
own goals and progress within Home Bargains. As a team, we can “Be Our Best”
every day for our customers.
