There’s no shame in making such a mistake, unless, however, it is a major mixup. In that case, an apology, as well as being more careful, is probably a good idea. That is especially true if you mistake somebody for an entirely different kind of person. In today’s story, we are going to have a look at one such occurrence, taken to the extreme. In a nutshell, a woman picking up her daughter from school was mistaken for a “strange man” because she wasn’t wearing her wig. Scroll down for more! More info: TikTok THIS WOMAN RECEIVED A HARROWING PHONE CALL FROM HER SCHOOL, BUT THE SITUATION WASN’T WHAT IT SEEMED TO BE Image credits: psyberartist A woman went to TikTok to share a story where she was mistaken for a “strange man” by her daughter’s school. She talks about the situation for the whole video, but only reveals that the “strange man” was her in the very last few seconds of the video, leaving audiences in shock. THIS WOMAN HAS BEEN TOLD OVER THE PHONE BY HER DAUGHTER’S SCHOOL THAT A “STRANGE MAN” HAS BEEN PICKING HER DAUGHTER UP AFTER CLASS Image credits: heyshantaqtv Image credits: heyshantaqtv The woman was told that a “strange man” had been picking up her daughter from school, and it wasn’t her dad. This in itself is terrifying, which is why it is understandable that the woman’s reaction was so intense. In an interview with Bored Panda, the woman said that at the time of uploading the video she was having a really bad day. “I’m a stroke and a heart attack survivor so I’ve been going through therapy and it has been really exhausting. And so I looked at myself in the mirror and was just kind of frustrated about my appearance and just felt like I’ve been letting myself go,” she explained. IT TURNS OUT THAT THE “STRANGE MAN” WAS, IN FACT, THE WOMAN WITHOUT HER WIG Image credits: heyshantaqtv The school provided a description of “the man”, which shocked the woman even more. But after they sent a photo over to her, it appears that it was the woman all along, but without her wig. The woman said she was really surprised to see the video go viral. “At that time I didn’t know what virality was, I didn’t know what it meant. So to see so many millions of people really intrigued and being able to bring them a laugh based on my pain, the feeling was amazing,” she said. The woman was glad that people could find humor out of the situation. The video went very much viral with 1.4M likes and prompted over 30k commentators to express their surprise at the plot twist in the end. What did you think about the video and the story?
