ABOUT THE AWARDS

Now in their fifth year, the PWM Wealth Tech Awards recognise the prominent role
of technology in private banking. The PWM Wealth Tech Awards aim at gathering
qualitative and quantitative information from private banking groups to be able
to give a set of awards for excellence in the use of technology and digital
communication. Institutions are asked to highlight key achievements, changes or
improvements in relation to how technology is transforming their business models
and contributing to drive growth, support advisers, enhance brand and improve
client experience. A judging panel composed of leading industry professionals
will assess the best performers, regardless of size, in different categories. As
a growing number of private banks invest in their technology infrastructure, the
awards programme is set to expand rapidly, with new categories being added and
new winners being awarded.

PWM WEALTH TECH SUMMIT

The global wealth management industry, along with many other sectors, is
embarking on its journey towards digitalisation and overall technology
integration. With this digital shift well in motion, advancing digital
technology is at the top of the private banking agenda and at the centre of
achieving operational excellence and customer satisfaction. With technology set
to offer benefits such as improved portfolio management strategies, greater
understanding of asset liquidity and increasing levels of customer service, the
move towards digitailsed functionality will reshape operations, decision making
and client journeys industry-wide. Not only are traditional wealth managers and
private banks looking to enhance their strategies for digital adoption, it is
estimated that currently, $1 billion USD is managed worldwide by digital only
wealth managers, signifying a steady transformation and at the same time, a
fundamental shift in the demographics and desires of the customer of the
future.

The Wealth Tech Summit will bring together leading wealth managers, investors
and technology companies to discuss the tectonic changes shaping the wealth
management industry as they know it. The industry is setting its sights on the
future, which is bringing with it a new generation of wealth and talent with new
demands and new expectations. Join us as we discuss and debate the emerging
challenges, opportunities and risks.

Published by the Financial Times, Professional Wealth Management (PWM)
specialises in analysing the growth strategies of private banks and the regional
financial centres in which they operate.

The wealth management and funds industries are changing fast in core European,
Asiana and American markets. Driven by an incoming local and global regulatory
tide, commercial imperatives and client demand, private banks and investment
houses must redraw their business models to comply with the new reality. In an
industry driven by regulation, technology and economic disruption, PWM provides
strategic advice and information to key decision-makers.

PWM carries the latest analysis of private banks, wealth managers and regional
financial centres, along with in-depth reporting on asset allocation, the fast
moving regulatory agenda, digital operations and technology, with input from a
broad range of thought leaders.

PWM is devoted to analysing the delivery of wealth solutions to private clients
and entrepreneurial families. This can be through traditional banks, private
investment or family offices and increasingly robo-advisers. PWM is also helping
financial institutions to set up relevant distribution and advice models in
developing markets such as the Middle East and parts of Asia and Latin America.

Across print, digital and event channels, PWM provides strategic advice to key
decision-makers working in all stages of the distribution process.
