We take great pride and pleasure in announcing the 7th Annual Conference of the
Society of Neurocritical Care of India is scheduled for 21st – 22nd September,
2024.

In India, the lack of neurocritical care and facilities dedicated to head trauma
and stroke remains a leading cause of mortality. The importance of specialized
neurointensive care cannot be overstated, as it significantly impacts the
outcomes of patients undergoing various neurological and neurosurgical
procedures. Caring for individuals with critical neurological and neurosurgical
conditions demands a unique skill set.

The SNCC 2024 conference aims to provide a valuable platform for gaining
in-depth knowledge about the fundamentals of Neurocritical Care. Over the course
of two days, the scientific event will cover a wide range of topics, featuring
contributions from experts in neurocritical care and related sub-specialties.
The discussions will focus on realistic clinical scenarios, global standards of
neurocritical care practices, and the latest advancements in the field.
In addition to interactive sessions, the conference will offer workshops and
hands-on sessions for healthcare professionals to acquire practical insights and
enhance their ability to deliver optimal patient care. A pre-conference workshop
is scheduled for September 19th & 20th, 2024.

Geography and Location:

Mumbai is located on the west coast of India and has a deep natural harbor. The
city is situated on a narrow peninsula, and its neighboring areas include the
Arabian Sea to the west, Thane Creek to the east, and the Vasai Creek to the
north.

Economy:

Mumbai is the financial, commercial, and entertainment hub of India. It houses
the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Reserve Bank of India (RBI), and numerous
financial institutions and corporate offices.

Film Industry:

Mumbai is the heart of the Indian film industry, often referred to as
Bollywood. The city is home to the iconic Film City and hosts the production of
a significant number of Indian movies.

Culture and Entertainment:

Shree Siddhivinayak Temple

The Shri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to Ganesha.
It is located in Prabhadevi neighbourhood of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It was
originally built by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil on 19 November 1801. It is one
of the most popular Hindu temples in Mumbai.

Haji Ali Dargah

The Haji Ali Dargah is a mosque and dargah or the monument of Pir Haji Ali Shah
Bukhari located on an islet off the coast of Worli in the southern Mumbai. An
exquisite example of Indo-Islamic Architecture, associated with legends about
doomed lovers, the dargah contains the tomb of Haji Ali Shah Bukhari.

Shree Mahalakshmi Temple

The Mahalaxmi Temple is one of the most famous temples of the city of Mumbai,
India. It is dedicated to Mahalakshmi the central deity of Devi Mahatmyam. The
temple was built in 1831 by Dhakji Dadaji, a Hindu merchant.

Mumbai Trans Harbour Link

The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, officially named as Atal Bihari Vajpayee
Sewri–Nhava Sheva Atal Setu and colloquially known as Atal Setu, is a 21.8 km
(13.5 mi) 6-lane elevated highway bridge, which connects Mumbai with Navi
Mumbai, its satellite city.

Coastal Road India’s First Undersea Tunnel

The Mumbai Coastal Road, which has been under construction since 2018, is now
open for commuters. Those travelling from the Western Suburbs can take the
southbound lane from Worli and reach Marine Drive in just 8-10 minutes. This
project includes India’s first undersea tunnel, and it is toll-free.

Bandra–Worli Sea Link

The Bandra-Worli Sea Link (officially known as Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link) is a 5.6
km long, 8-lane wide cable-stayed bridge that links Bandra in the Western
Suburbs of Mumbai with Worli in South Mumbai. It is the longest sea bridge, as
well as the 5th longest bridge in India

Gateway Of India

The Gateway of India is an arch-monument completed in 1924 on the waterfront of
Mumbai, India. It was erected to commemorate the landing of George V for his
coronation as the Emperor of India in December 1911 at Strand Road near
Wellington Fountain. He was the first British monarch to visit India
