GIGABIT ULTRAFAST FIBRE BROADBAND

In areas where Openreach have started to roll out fibre to the premises (FTTP)
services, Borders Online can now provide customers with a fibre based service
that has high speeds and unlimited usage allowances. For current wireless
customers looking to upgrade, the existing radio based service is maintained as
an automatic backup, should there be issues on the Openreach network.

SUPERFAST WIRELESS BROADBAND

Borders Online have built a radio network of masts across the Scottish Borders
hills and surrounding communities, to provide Superfast Broadband to rural
properties not currently served by the major providers. The service only needs a
line of sight to one of our relay sites; no phone line is required. Providing
speeds of 30Mbps download and offering various data usage tariffs to suit all
users.

INTERNET TELEPHONE

With our Wireless and Fibre services, you don't need a traditional land line for
internet access, so in places where there is a reasonable mobile phone signal,
there is then little need to have a land line at all.

WI-FI

Having a fast internet connection to your house is sometimes the tip of the
iceberg when trying to do more online; with a slow connection poor Wi-Fi within
the house is not noticed, or it is blamed on the internet connection itself. So
whether you get our Superfast Wireless or the Ultrafast Fibre broadband
installed, you will often also need to invest in your Wi-Fi setup, so it can
