MEET OUR FOUNDER






DANIEL J. LADD, DO

Daniel J. Ladd, Jr., DO is the Medical Director and Founder of Tru-Skin
Dermatology in Austin, Texas. He earned his BA from the University of Texas at
Austin and received his medical degree from Des Moines University in 1999. He
completed his Dermatology residency at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in
Kirksville, Missouri in conjunction with the Dermatology Institute of North
Texas in 2004. 

He is a member in good standing of the American Academy of Dermatology, American
Osteopathic College of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic
Surgeons and the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery,
as well as a Member of the American Society of Mohs Surgery. Daniel J. Ladd, DO
is a lifetime member of the Skin Cancer Foundation’s Amonette Circle, an elite
group of the country’s foremost dermatologists and Mohs surgeons who have made a
commitment to skin cancer education and prevention

Since Tru-Skin Dermatology’s inception in 2004, our practice has expanded to 7
locations all across Central Texas.  By having multiple locations, not only are
we able to accommodate more patients, but we cut down travel time for our
patients as well. We have offices in Austin, Bastrop, Cedar Park,
Hallettsville, Spring Branch, La Grange, and Round Rock. Our doctors spend as
much time with each patient as needed, ensuring questions are always answered
and concerns are always addressed.






WE SPECIALIZE IN MEDICAL DERMATOLOGY

At Tru-Skin Dermatology, we specialize in medical dermatology and on helping
patients maintain healthy skin.  While we treat everything from acne to
psoriasis and everything in between, our primary focus over the years has been
treating various types of skin cancer. We also offer cosmetic dermatology
services, such as BOTOX® injections, fillers, and photofacials. In addition, we
offer a wide range of aesthetic procedures and treatments from microdermabrasion
to micro-needling, chemical peels, rosacea treatment, laser hair removal, hair
loss restoration and more. Our team of caring professionals are trained in the
latest techniques to make sure you get the most effective treatments.

Dermatology is donated to The Shade Project to help skin cancer prevention
efforts. In addition, we are a full-service dermatology practice offering the
latest advances in anti-aging and skin rejuvenation procedures, injections, and
laser treatments. Healthy skin is our Tru priority.
