Bridges Under Pressure
NHERI at UC Davis researchers win the 2022 DesignSafe Dataset Award for their
dataset on liquefaction-induced downdrag on pile foundations. The authors intend
for the data to be used by a broad a range of researchers -- from
experimentalists to numerical modelers. The data was generated by experiments
employing the facility's large-scale centrifuge.
