Injecting more collaboration and interactivity in the buyer journey makes so much sense on all sides. I like Trumpet's templates a lot too – helps with inspiration and the cold start problem for creating pods and content. Congrats @rory_sadler_trumpet & team! 🎺 Tom McCabe @tom_mccabe We started using Trumpet at Mo.health as soon as we could get our hands on it. b2b sales is multi-stakeholder, and it's super powerful to be able to expand and evolve your sales material as questions come in from different business functions. I'm an early super user and am really enjoying it so far. Full of delightful little moments and I've been blown away by the speed of development/releases. Great concept, great execution. Trumpet has forced us to change the way we look at sharing information with prospective clients What do you dislike about trumpet? The design function / widgets can still do with a lot of work to get anywhere near their full potential What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? It was proving difficult to enable our main stakeholders to sell our services internally (upwards). Trumpet has allowed them to do so easily. Read more Mike P. Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? - Speed of new product delivery - Customer support, customer success and provided training - Integrations with our existing sales stack We've had some remarkable successes using Trumpet as part of our post-demo deal flow. And the best thing is, our customers love it and all have remarked on it! What do you dislike about trumpet? Very little, on balance. We have found, with some more traditional customers in our ICP (legacy brands or non-technically focussed companies in particular) that they have preferred being sent PDFs. However, if your customer was born after about 1968 you'll be fine! What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? Buyer enablement is increasingly difficult, and ensuring that deal velocity is maintained across multiple deals is often near-impossible. Trumpet helps us to solve both of these issues. Read more Haelee R. Owner Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? Our whole team uses Trumpet, from sales to marketing, CS, and program, we're all in there building pitches and products daily. What do you dislike about trumpet? Very little! Given the super easy (zero training needed) drag and drop nature of the platform it can be a bit limiting for design. But that's also a huge bonus because you dont have to be a designer for your pods to look slick. What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? Initially we needed to manage our sales cycle with a small team. We were hoping to find a platform that would help us scale our processes as we expand into the US . The key things we were looking for were; a tech forward platform, easily customisable, great data and analytics, user friendly. Trumpet ticks all those boxes. Read more Vlad B. Strategic Advisor Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? I think of trumpet as something like "using the best bait to catch the biggest fish." I use it for delivering highly personalized, high-quality cold outreach. I'd rather send a beautiful and differentiated trumpet pod to a high-quality prospect than a cold email with a ton of text / attachments... or the alternative, a sparse email with almost no meaningful personalization. I get a much higher response rate, and the deals tend to be a lot more "real." All subsequent collateral, presentations, ROI docs, etc., I just drop them into the POD. This makes it really easy to keep a clean sales cycle and produces a really pleasant buyer experience. What do you dislike about trumpet? There's a tremendous amount of customization available. I'm still learning new ones every day. Maybe as this becomes more or less the norm, there will be communities to share tips and tricks. What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? Accessing and managing large sales opportunities. Read more Robyn M. Customer Success Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? Trumpet is a brilliant way to build one source of truth for our customers, and create a seamless handover experience between Sales and CS What do you dislike about trumpet? There are definitely enhancements and features I'd love to see in Trumpet, but they are really responsive to feedback and their roadmap seems to move pretty quickly. Trumpet also isn't a guarantee that contacts will engage with you and your content, but that it really does improve our chances, and guarantees we have data to back up our claims. What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? I'm actually using Trumpet as part of the Customer Success team. We use it to run our outbound growth and upsell pipeline, and we also use it to run our onboarding process. It enables us to take all the information shared during the sales process, and build on it throughout the customer's life with our product - creating one source of truth and a rich, personalised hub for customers to rely on. Having all the info relevant in one space, where the recipient can also interact has been great. Slick, easy to use and such a more streamlined way of getting the info you want and your prospect/client wants across. What do you dislike about trumpet? The occasional company you pop in will autofill with their braning incorrectly/poorly - have noticed this getting better over time however, so no big issue, especially for such a new tool What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? The key thing is that trumpet is a differentiator - standing out from the competition is harder than ever and using trumpet has been a game changer for us. Feedback has been nothing but positive. Read more Ashleigh C. Senior Account Executive Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? That I can create a personalised pod for my client in minutes giving them and their team a single source of truth and unlimited access to me. What do you dislike about trumpet? Hard to say but if I had to I would say no Docusign element to it, but its not a major deal for me. What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? Stopping endless email threads, and perlonging to get stakeholders up to speak on the project. Easy to use - for all abilities Continuously being improved - so many updates being implimented Feedback and support are outstanding Feel like suggestions are heard and considered Genuinely adds value to my business What do you dislike about trumpet? There isn't much to say here yet Most issues ive had have either been based on the user (me) or my lack of knowledge about using the software What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? Speed - time generating content/information has decreased Open Rates - confident the POD will be viewed more often than a PDF Lack of sales process - using as a filler for hidden decision makers Read more Rob C. Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? I like that it's incredibly simple to set up and use but the deck itself retains personability and specificity for the prospect. I'd say it does catch the eye of prospects more than traditional decks, and being able to track who's seen it and integration with other tools i.e. loom means you can get more data and engage with prospects more effectively than simply sending out a deck. What do you dislike about trumpet? It is a good tool, but there's no guarantee that it actually gets opened. I sent out quite a few to prospects as cold-outreach and found a very low open rate. Since this I've changed it to how I send info if it is requested which has been more effective. This is obviously a problem with prospects and general open rates on emails and linkedin messages though, not the tool itself, but it does feed into its efficacy. What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? Making communicating to your propsects more personalised. Benefits me as with little effort prospects feel like I've put more time into them Read more Michael R. Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? - UX is great and they're quick to personalise & send - Easy way to stand out from boring emails - Can track who's opening & engaging - Support is support quick & helpful so you're never waiting around What do you dislike about trumpet? - It can be tricky at the start to get the hang of all the widgets and features What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? Easy to use and create personalised micro-sites for prospects, at scale. Trumpet has allowed us to take our multithreading to a higher level, getting infront of buyers using various pages from customer stories, case studies to mini demos. The Pod analytics really uncover insights you might have previously missed, from new champions to technical buyers. Seeing where our prospects spend most of their time allowed us to shape our messaging to best fit our ICP. What do you dislike about trumpet? Nothing, very helpful team, from support to new product updates. Keep up the good work Trumpet!. What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? Creating a competitve buying process. A one stop shop for Sales and Customers. Really makes the experience colloborative. Read more Millie K. COO Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? One of the things that stands out is how passionate the Trumpet team are in what they do. Russell is an excellent account manager and is so quick to respond. To have a slack channel that connects with him, Rory and Sam is really useful for any issues or questions we have. We love the level of personalisation we're able to create and being able to drip-feed information has been key for us in keeping longer term deals engaged. We're looking forward to using the new signature functionality too. What do you dislike about trumpet? As a start up ourselves we're constantly evolving and trying new messaging out which means that templates can get old quickly. The team have this on their radar though and are adding in improvements to speed things up like the recent update which allows you to change all widget backgrounds at once. What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? It's good to be able to get deal interaction updates so we can keep track of what deals are hot and who is less engaged. Being able to tag different people in a prospect's company allows us to get touch points with multiple decision makers too. Read more Benjamin E. Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? So many different features that are supporting a big shift in our sales process and account management, really flexible tool. We love it! What do you dislike about trumpet? Would love to see more of a table feature and can't wait to have the built-in signature tools. Also would like to have more ability to customise look and feel. What do you like best about trumpet? Very scalable product - easy to make a template and pump out pod after pod. Rory and Russell were instrumental in setting me up and teaching best practices when the product was in beta - and even now they're very responsive. The product roadmap is also public and they're constantly reviewing feedback and implementing new features that users would like to see. What do you dislike about trumpet? Nothing really. Like most tools there's a learning curve when you first start using trumpet, but once you wrap your head around it it's very intuitive. Account Executive Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? As a software seller, I often find there is bucket loads of content and documentation to share with prospects that making it easy for them to digest can be a little tricky, especially via email... If you are looking to make your buyers lives easier when it comes to digesting content Trumpet is an absolute no-brainer. For all of the following reasons: - Slick UI/UX for prospects to engage with all of your content no matter the format - Flexibility to customise each microsite specifically for them and what they care about - Visibility into interactions and time spent viewing content for better insights - Ability to interact directly with prospects via comments and annotations - Strong integrations into third-party tools for better quality content/sites - Control over the data you wish to collect from prospects viewing each microsite - Control the levels of security you wish to apply to each microsite - Unreal team of individuals willing to help maximise your microsites performance - Exciting roadmap with game-changing capabilities The list could go on and on... What do you dislike about trumpet? Nothing, the team at Trumpet have really nailed a fundamental problem within sales cycles and made it easier than ever for buyers to engage and understand more about what your solution does. What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? - Generating more pipeline via outbound pods - Accelerating deal cycles - Removing friction for buyers - Delighting buyers unexpectedly - Making the process of sharing content far easier and scalable - Enjoying follow-ups more than before Read more Shaun T. Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? How quickly we can get great looking content in front of our customers What do you dislike about trumpet? Find it hard to find some functions when creating pages, such as replicating the pod for future use. What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? Helps us get easliy digestable content in front of customers as fast as possible. Helps create an easy link from sales to onboarding in the same place For longer sales process it helps keep all follow up questins and answers in the same place for both customer and ourselves. Read more Sophie E. Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? Firstly, it's cool as f***! I love the user interface, super easy to use and create pods, it shows an extra level care has gone into any outreach or follow-up you may share with prospects/customers and with the current market, it really makes a difference to stand out. It's easy for them to see all information in one place instead of 5x attachments on an email and it looks super professional. What do you dislike about trumpet? There isn't anything honestly, widget insights would be great to see who's clicked on which part of the pod, I know this is already in the pipeline though as a product release! What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? It's helping to set us apart from competition considering our target market is marketers and they'll be contacted by thousands of sales people at the moment. It's also saving me heaps of time in my outbound efforts and in follow-ups with prospects to share all the relevant information they need, duplicating other recent pods is so easy that a follow-up used to take maybe 20-30 minutes it can now take less than 5! What do you like best about trumpet? - It's great to support prospects in building their business case, rather than a messy google doc. Provides a great visual with flexibility to include lots of content - It's an innovative way to engage and collaborate with prospects - It's helpful to understand the engagement you're getting from prospects and key areas of interest from analysing where they spend their time. - Helps to drive next steps and action plans of a deal cycle. What do you dislike about trumpet? Nothing so far. Still getting to grips with the platform and I need to introduce automation in creating new pods by creating templates, etc. What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? Easy to engage with prospects simple, easy to visualise business case proposal It helps me to better manage my deal cycle. Read more Patrick C. Head of Demand Generation Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? Love how you can easily put together a slick-looking webpage to collaborate with prospects. Instead of emailing back and forth and wasting a prospect's time, we put all of the relevant information in one single shared space. Additionally, we can see how prospects engage with our pods and work together within the pod live. Overall, it provides a much smoother selling motion for our team. What do you dislike about trumpet? Not much, but would love to see more data surface for best practices -- what types of pods work? What's the most engaging? Etc. Having that data I think would help us develop more engaging pods. What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? Before we engaged with prospects in a much more tedious and manual manner -- basically through email. The problem with that though was that it was unorganized, had higher friction, and didn't present our team in the best way. With trumpet, we seem much more put together, more professional, and it removes a huge barrier with prospects, allowing for a much smoother sales experience. Read more Cory L. Account Executive Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? Recently started using but super easy to use. So far just using for prospecting purposes (as a way to show true personalisation on a 1 to 1 basis, not at scale) Lucky enough to have our sales leaders create templates for us to start quicker so we can spin up a custom microsite (pod) for the prospect within minutes, all custom branded to them + us So much more to do (which we have not explored yet) like the use of Trumpet as deal room to get all necessary info for the buy (in opp) in one place - I can see this being the best use as an AE once we get to it! What do you dislike about trumpet? Nothing yet - too early to really say Naturally it's a early stage start-up so they are continuously building new stuff and iterating on the idea and mission What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? Showing true personalisation when prospecting - especially when a prospect says "just send me more info" (when it's not a fob off) No-one reads an email with an essay of info - prospects seem to like an easy to engage with micro site custom to them to share internally Read more Lily S. Customer Success Manager Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) What do you like best about trumpet? My two favourite features of trumpet are the mutual action plan and the video recording widget. I use the first for managing my onboardings, and any outstanding project tasks with clients. And the video widget is a powerful way to share client updates, or any quick micro-demos. Also - their CS team is so helpful and supportive! What do you dislike about trumpet? I would say the ability to collect information for clients, we've been using the typeform integration. But I believe a forms widget is coming very soon! What problems is trumpet solving and how is that benefiting you? Its giving me a central place to manage my relationship with clients. This used to be split across email threads, excel trackers, google drives, etc.. It is so much easier having this in one place that can then easily prove the value delivered to clients when renewal time comes.
