FedNat Insurance Company, based in Florida and licensed in Texas, was ordered to
end its operations. Texas policyholders can learn about an emergency rule
protecting those who live along the state’s coast, how claims will be paid, what
they can do, and who to contact on our FAQ webpage.


INSURED WEBINARS

TDI’s InsurED webinars are opportunities for TDI staff to share information and
tips with those in the insurance industry. Continuing education credit is
available for some webinars. Topics for the one-hour webinars have ranged from
the independent dispute resolution process to property and casualty filings.

The Weston Property & Casualty Insurance Company, based in Florida and licensed
in Texas, was ordered to end its operations. Texas policyholders can learn about
the order, how claims will be paid, what they can do, and who to contact on our
FAQ webpage.



HEALTH BENEFIT PLAN GUIDANCE FOR UVALDE COUNTY

TDI issued a bulletin encouraging health benefit plans to ensure compassionate
treatment of consumers in Uvalde County. The bulletin includes guidance about:
(1) providing coverage and reimbursement for covered mental health services, and
(2) authorizing payment to pharmacies for up to a 90-day supply of any
prescription.
