BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES


WE HAVE MOVED

Memorial Outpatient Behavioral Health Center's office in Hollywood moved to a
new location.

Memorial Outpatient Behavioral Health Center provides comprehensive adult mental
health and addiction treatment—including psychiatry, behavioral health
counseling, and primary care services—focused on helping patients and creating
health and wellness in all areas of their lives. For more than 30 years, the
center has offered high-quality behavioral health services, in a positive and
nurturing environment, in order to support our patients every step of the way on
their road to healing and recovery. 

We accept many health care and managed care plans, including Medicare and
Medicaid. Self-paying patients are also welcomed.


PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

Memorial Regional Hospital

Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We offer psychiatric screenings for individuals arriving voluntarily, under a
Baker Act or Marchman Act and those being transferred from another community
facility. We also provide lab services, medical clearance and mental status
exams.

INPATIENT TREATMENT

Memorial Behavioral Health Services at Memorial Regional Hospital offers a full
range of behavioral health services — both on an inpatient and outpatient basis
— for those requiring psychiatric treatment.

Our caring, professional staff is dedicated to helping you reach your goals. We
offer a wide array of outpatient programs with convenient hours and scheduling
options to make it easier to get the support you need.

Counseling Program and Substance Abuse Treatment Services

 * Monday: 8 am - 4 pm
 * Tuesday to Thursday: 8 am - 8 pm
 * Friday: 8 am - 4 pm


NEW PATIENT ASSESSMENTS

To get started with our outpatient behavioral services, you'll need to complete
an intake assessment. Assessments are offered by appointment or during our
walk-in hours: Monday-Thursday, 8 am - 4 pm.

BEGIN YOUR INTAKE ASSESSMENT BY FILLING OUT OUR NEW PATIENT SCREENING


Our staff will review your information to make sure we are a good fit for you
and contact you with any follow-up questions and provide you with an appointment
to finish your intake assessment at our Outpatient Behavioral Health Center.

Your first visit will be with a licensed clinical therapist to complete an
intake assessment into our clinic.

Please note: An intake assessment is to complete the admission for our
clinic, it is not a visit to start medications.

Community Youth Services is an outpatient behavioral health department which
provides services to youth, adolescents and families directly in their homes and
within their communities. Staff work with patients to encourage and support them
within their homes and community, in order to avoid hospital visits. The unique
nature of the services provided by the Community Youth Services department has
allowed Memorial Healthcare System to lead the way in access to care for
individuals and families suffering from physical, emotional and behavioral
challenges.


CONDITIONS WE TREAT

Memorial Behavioral Health Services at Memorial Regional Hospital offers a full
range of behavioral health services — both on an inpatient and outpatient basis
— for those requiring psychiatric treatment for various mental health illnesses
and disorders including:

 * Addiction/substance abuse, including alcohol and drug use by pregnant women
 * Mood and anxiety disorders
 * Geriatric psychiatry
 * Trauma and abuse
 * Adolescent mental health and substance abuse
 * In-home family therapy

SLIDING FEE SCALE POLICIES

Our Sliding Scale Fee Program is designed to provide free or discounted care to
those who have no means, or limited means, to pay for their medical services
(uninsured or underinsured). All patients seeking healthcare services at
Memorial Behavioral Health are assured that they will be served regardless of
ability to pay.
