Rawson/Industrial Controls is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic, we would
like to reaffirm our commitment to delivering support in such strained and
uncertain times. We understand the importance of the products and services that
we provide and we are following the CDC and state & federal health organizations
recommendations. In March of 2020, we instituted all necessary precautions
including avoiding unnecessary contact, having office workers work from home,

STRENGTH AND SECURITY

Rawson was founded in 1954 with Industrial Controls being established in 1976.
Although the two companies offered similar products, they were active in
different geographies of the United States.

In 2009, a company called ERIKS (which was established in 1940 in Alkmaar, the
Netherlands) was incorporated by SHV Holdings, a privately held family company.
SHV invests for the long term, expanding and developing businesses and providing
their customers with excellent products and services. SHV started business in
1896 as a coal-trading company.

Today, SHV has an impressive portfolio of companies: Mammoet, Nutreco, NPM
Capital, Dyas, Makro, and SHV Energy, with:
 * 55,000 employees
 * A presence in 58 countries worldwide
 * Annual sales of $22 billion (or € 20 billion)


Being purchased by SHV catapulted ERIKS to begin to acquire more heavily in the
North American market. In 2010, ERIKS purchased Rawson and, in 2011, ERIKS
purchased Industrial Controls.

for Clarke Valve’s state-of-the-art Shutter Valve™ technology.

Using innovative design principles derived from the aerospace industry, Clarke
Valve’s proprietary Shutter Valve™ technology enables oil and gas companies to
slash valve fugitive emissions, which the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA) says are responsible for 60% of all the fugitive emissions in that
industry, by 98%. It also offers lower total cost of ownership, reduced
footprint, lower weight, and improved performance.

The globe valve (left) was replaced by the Shutter Valve (right). The Shutter
Valve is fully interchangeable with globe control valves and reduces footprint
by about 50%.
