ROBOTICS TEST ENGINEER (M/F/D)

FESTANSTELLUNG, VOLLZEIT · MUNICH

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

 * Design, implement and execute tests for industrial and collaborative robots
   as well as mechatronic systems such as test benches
 * Design, plan and execute test plans for components and system tests in close
   cooperation with external companies (e.g EMC laboratories) and notified
   bodies (e.g. TÜV)
 * Evaluate test results and provide feedback as part of a multidisciplinary
   development team 
 * Implement data acquisition and data analysis on robot and mechatronic
   components
 * Develop and document test and calibration procedures following
   state-of-the-art regulatory frameworks
 * Review, propose, and verify component and system requirements

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

 * Industry experience in testing, verification, and validation of mechatronic
   or robotic systems 
 * Hands-on experience with robotic systems, test bench automation or data
   acquisition/analysis
 * Sound knowledge in analysis of robotic and mechatronic systems
 * Degree or equivalent in mechatronics, electrical, or a related technical
   field
 * Experience with C++ / Python for data analysis and test bench automation
 * Hands-on experience in mechanical / electrical / automation system design,
   construction, or commissioning
 * Willingness to collaborate & take on diverse responsibilities
 * System-oriented thinking and structured working approach
 * Good written and spoken English skills

BENEFICIAL SKILLS

 * Hands-on experience with middleware systems (e.g. OPCUA, dds)
 * Experience with Unix (e.g. Bash) as well as field bus systems (e.g. EtherCAT)
   and embedded controllers
 * Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in collaborative robotics
   and industrial automation such as ISO 10218-1, IEC 61800-5-1, and TS 15066
 * German and Chinese language skills are advantageous
