tend to think of the British and German empires as bitter rivals who were always
on a collision course because of their clashing imperialist and expansionist
ambitions. After all, Britain and Germany are the most recognizable powers of
both World War Two and the original Great War, but things almost went very
differently. Joseph Chamberlain of Britain, the father of Neville Chamberlain,
had on three occasions attempted to forge an Anglo-German Alliance, but when
these negotiations failed, Britain ultimately turned to France and Russia, two
countries who had been previously hostile to and in directly rivalry with
Britain in prior years. This alliance system created a dangerous balance between
the Triple Entente of Britain, France, and Russia on one side, and the Triple
Alliance or Central Powers of Germany, Austria, and Italy on the other. The
result was a long and grueling conflict that exhausted everyone involved, but
would such a thing have happened had the odds been skewed in favor of one
particular side? Could Britain and Germany have prevented the outbreak of a
World War? In today's alternate history video we will ask what if Britain joined

ALTERNATIVE ENERGY

Ocean, wind and others are sources or alternative energy.

Alternative energy is often referenced as: any energy source that is an
alternative to fossil fuel. These alternatives are intended to address concerns
about such fossil fuels. It causes less pollution too.

The nature of what constitutes an alternative energy source has changed
considerably over time, as have controversies regarding energy use. Today,
because of the variety of energy choices and differing goals of their advocates,
defining some energy types as "alternative" is highly controversial.

In a general sense, alternative energy as it is currently conceived, is that
which is produced or recovered without the undesirable consequences inherent in
fossil fuel use, particularly high carbon dioxide emissions (greenhouse gas), an
important factor in global warming.


DEFINITIONS


HISTORY

Historians of economies have examined the key transitions to alternative
energies and regard the transitions as pivotal in bringing about significant
economic change. Prior to the shift to an alternative energy, supplies of the
dominant energy type became erratic, accompanied by rapid increases in energy
prices.

   we tend to think of the British and German empires as bitter rivals who were
   always on a collision course because of their clashing imperialist and
   expansionist ambitions. After all, Britain and Germany are the most
   recognizable powers of both World War Two and the original Great War, but
   things almost went very differently. Joseph Chamberlain of Britain, the
   father of Neville Chamberlain, had on three occasions attempted to forge an
   Anglo-German Alliance, but when these negotiations failed, Britain ultimately
   turned to France and Russia, two countries who had been previously hostile to
   and in directly rivalry with Britain in prior years. This alliance system
   created a dangerous balance between the Triple Entente of Britain, France,
   and Russia on one side, and the Triple Alliance or Central Powers of Germany,
   Austria, and Italy on the other. The result was a long and grueling conflict
   that exhausted everyone involved, but would such a thing have happened had
   the odds been skewed in favor of one particular side? Could Britain and
   Germany have prevented the outbreak of a World War? In today's alternate

ALTERNATIVE ENERGY

Ocean, wind and others are sources or alternative energy.

Alternative energy is often referenced as: any energy source that is an
alternative to fossil fuel. These alternatives are intended to address concerns
about such fossil fuels. It causes less pollution too.

The nature of what constitutes an alternative energy source has changed
considerably over time, as have controversies regarding energy use. Today,
because of the variety of energy choices and differing goals of their advocates,
defining some energy types as "alternative" is highly controversial.

In a general sense, alternative energy as it is currently conceived, is that
which is produced or recovered without the undesirable consequences inherent in
fossil fuel use, particularly high carbon dioxide emissions (greenhouse gas), an
important factor in global warming.

HISTORY

Historians of economies have examined the key transitions to alternative
energies and regard the transitions as pivotal in bringing about significant
economic change. Prior to the shift to an alternative energy, supplies of the
dominant energy type became erratic, accompanied by rapid increases in energy
prices.
